Man Killed At Busta Video Shoot
According to reports, gunshots rang out late last night at the video shoot for Busta’s "Touch It" remix in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn. Apparently a single gunmen let off 14 shots, from what police think was an AK-47, in front of the studio where Busta and several other celebrity guests were inside filming. When the smoke cleared 29 year old bodyguard Israel Ramirez lay dead with a single bullet wound to the chest. It seems to me like there’s a good chance this shooting had absolutely nothing to do with Busta or the video shoot, but I can just imagine the field day the local rags are going to have tomorrow with headlines for the story.
UPDATE: Ok, so maybe it did have to do with Busta. SOHH is reporting that the bodyguard actually jumped in front of Busta saving his life. Police are apparently looking to question Tony Yayo about the incident after learning that he was involved in an argument shortly before the shooting took place. (Insert G-Unit joke here). Also, what did I say about the sensational headlines?

Cam’ron’s Assault Lawsuit Surfaces
Monday - February 6, 2006 by Carl “H.D.†Chery
Documents of a lawsuit filed by Cam’ron after being jumped in Harlem, NY’s Rucker Park have recently surfaced.
According to the court documents, Cam (born Cameron Giles), then 23, filed a suit for assault against an unknown assailant back in 1999. The documents describe how Cam got into an argument with approximately 15 men while at the park. The dispute boiled over, causing one of the men to knock him to the floor before kicking him in the head and groin. The assailant and the rest of the men then fled the park. Killa was then taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated and released.
Though Cam’ron is the sole plaintiff listed on the documents, rumors say Jim Jones was also assaulted during the incident.
Cam claims Jay-Z attempted to get footage of him and Jones getting jumped for his “I Declare War†concert. There’s no word whether Cam was refering to the Rucker footage.

i just read on sohh.com that they said witness said they saw the shooter flee the scene in TONY YAYO’S car, also the bodyguards wife said busta called her to tell her what happened and offer his apoligies and he stated that the gunman was running towards the bodyguard saying “this isnt about you just get out they way “
