    Let’s get something perfectly clear here……..this is MY OPINION…….BOTTOM LINE!!!! You see, that’s what the fuck I’m talking about. Nas is a total dick head. This asshole is totally fucked up in the head. We have 2 great mc’s who have had their share of war on the mic before, both mc’s have dismantled each other……..(I still say Nas won that battle), both mc’s have 1 thing in common (sleeping with Carmen……Nas’ baby’s mother) and now this asshole is signing to Def Jam who I might add Jay z happens to be the president, and this is suppose to be a BIG step for hip hop?……uhhh NAS and Nas fans wake the fuck up…….whatever happened to “ETHER WAS WAY BETTER THAN TAKEOVER”, “NAS WILL BE ALRIGHT BY HIMSELF”, “HE DOES NOT NEED ANYONE TO HOLD HIM OR HIS CAREER UP” you all praise this collaboration BUT a couple of years back ALL of you were dissing Nas OR dissing Jay for obvious reasons……..DAMN!!!! I know you might say to yourself “yeah N.Y.C. was in a state of emergency until this union came about” and “we are glad to see a peace treaty between Nas and Jigga”…….well just keep in mind that Nas’ spokesperson came to Jay FIRST to figure something out. You praise that union BUT what about m.o.p./mobb deep/mase and OTHER artist that are soon to be under the umbrella of the G-Unit roster?……all you assholes do is hate on this union/collaboration……..nothing but HATE HATE HATE…….where’s the love? I can’t wait for the GREAT PUNCHLINES that 50′s going to bring if Nas comes out running his lips……OH MY GOD I CAN’T WAIT. This asshole Nas has set himself up BIG TIME!!!!     The main motivation for all this Jay/Cam/Nas is the desire for record comanies to have strong 1st quarter showing.

    Think about it. The record industry is hemmoraging.

    Luis, no disrespect, but what’s your point? How can u downtalk a great moment in hip hop history. as long as this opens the door for more great music out of Nas, then what’s the problem? Why do people hate on the whole GUnit umbrella? because it’s obvious that all Mobb Deep and Mase are after is fame and glory. now there’s nothing wrong with that, but after Mase turned his back on his life as a preacher and the Mobb boys sent a message of standing on your own two feet for years, this whole union seems like it was all for the money, with no regard for adavancing the music. Mobb essentially gave up on trying to make another classic like The Infamous by signing to G-Unit

    As a NAS fan, I will say this : THAT MUTHAFUKKA IS CRAZY.

    As much as I’m trying to see the bigger picture, telling myself that’s what Hip Hop should be about, BLACK men growing the hell up, staying united and making business together, taking Hip Hop to another level, there’s a difference between unity/peace and STRAIGHT stupidity. Nas is gonna work – not WITH – but FOR Jay. Nas could have joined forces with Jay without signing with him. Let’s be realistic, the ball is forever in Jay’s court now that he has total control over his career. Jay may not take advantage of this but then again I seriously DOUBT IT. Shit is as stupid as Ja Rule signing 50 cent. Nas is the one who’s gonna get his ass ETHERED this time.

    It’s a good step Jay but I don’t know about Nas. I mean is getting 3 mil per album and Def Jam is also paying for promo and production sounds like a deal to me but on personal level for Nas seems kinda wack but I guess he made peace and millions over the Beef so at the end of the day him and Jay won.

    Jay-Z and Nas squashed their beef years ago, it just wasn’t made public, and as far as I’m concerned, Def Jam is the best place for Nas. Any fool can see that. Also this annoucement has taken the spotlight off of a desperate “I need to shift some units fast” Camron. Good move Jay!

    While Dre did the first grown up move in hip hop by leaving Death Row because of the bringing the streets to the office shit that was going on there, his reasons were not well publisized. Jay and Nas is growing up in the game and showing these young cats something they can aspire to publicly. Contrary to what you might see from Puffy you can’t stay a kid for the rest of your life. You got to be a man at some point. I am proud of these brothas.

    No one is throroughly paying attention. Jay did Nas DIRTY, especially when he was talking about Nas kissing his dick. I would not let that shit slide unless I was assured a 2 mill advance check thats non-recoupable.

    Plus Def Jam is the reason why Meth dropped his worst album. I don’t think he had 100% freedom or control of what he made. Def Jam also DROPPED COMP, that nice dude from B-More. (If you’ve heard the songs “B-More Anthem,” “Official,” “Harder,” or his verse being guest featured alongside Jadakiss on Ghostface Killah’s “Run,” then you know what I’m talking about.)

    They delayed Redmans current album HEAVILY and they released the Young Bunz and Memphis Weak when they have talent shelved. I don’t even need to begin talking about what happened with Cormega.

    I hope something good comes out of this, but theres been a hex on Def Jam lately.
