Damn, a nigga takes an hour off to watch Lost and all hell breaks loose. Killa has finally come out his face with the dis track everybody’s been anticipating since he left the Roc. What’s that about? For some reason he also seems pissed that Jay likes to where open toed sandals? Did you hear that? It was like a flushing sound…I think it was Juelz career going down the toilet. Just want to back up Fe because people gave him so much shit for talking about Jay-Z’s lifestyle. I saw that picture of Jay and B in the Post and I’ve been to that pier in St Tropez. I’ve been to papagayo’s (which is a club in St Tropez, not a vacation spot), Nikki Beach (chain of clubs in Miami, St Tropez, etc), Cannes, Monte Carlo, Mykonos, Santorini. These are places where only people with MAJOR money go to hang out - multi-millionaires and billionaires. If you have not been to these places, if you don’t roll in these circles, if you have not been on a yacht, if you have not been on a private jet JUST SHUT UP because you sound like a hater. If you have never stayed at a 7 or 8 star hotel and you can’t name even one (yes, they do exist), then SHUT UP. These places aren’t rapper retreats, this is international money - Forbses, Paul Allen, Kerkorian (RIDICULOUS yacht, by the way), greek shipping heirs, Waltons. $200 million vacation homes in St Jean Cap Ferrat, Bono’s estate in Eze.
For Cam to hate on it is just plain stupid. He’s not at the level where he’s renting $200,000/week yachts with a crew of 25 (butler, cooks, maids, boat crew, etc) like Jay does every year (you can find pics online). Do you even know what the fees are to dock at a slip in St Tropez for just one night? The fact that he calls Jay out about the sandals in that picture just proves my point that Cam’s not living this lifestyle. That’s like someone mispronouncing “Versace” (or trying to make fun of Papagayo’s) - they’re just calling themselves out. The sad and pathetic part? His man Dame Dash that he’s defending in the song - IS living this lifestyle. Dame rolls in these circles JUST LIKE JAY, hangs out on the yachts, beaches, etc. I guess he takes his entourage but doesn’t include Cam?
And about the sandals that everyone keeps hating on - have any of you haters been to a beach? What do you wear - timbs? sneakers? Why would you wear anything but sandals on a beach or on a yacht? Before you bother responding, post a picture of yourself on a beach and make sure we can see your shoes. And before you bother responding about the yacht, just so you know, certain types of shoes can’t be worn on boats.
Finally, the real issue is the song, and the song just sucks. If you’re going to go at one of the best rappers around, you should have more than one platinum album in an 8 year career under your belt, you should come with a good diss record - don’t bring a knife to a gunfight. He doesn’t have more than three deceent lines/disses in the song - what did he need 8 minutes for? In Ether, Nas had a diss in at least every other line. On top of that, he doesn’t cover any new territory - how can he get points for saying all the same stuff that Nas already said?? Nas covered Jay being ugly, Biggie’s publishing, biting other MC’s. You can’t get points for plagiarising Nas’ diss record for your own. The song was so bad that Cam felt the need to put out a second track before Jay or anyone from his camp responded.
Cam is not an MC. I’ll say that again - Cam is NOT AN MC. He’s just a rapper, and not even a good one. All of you defending him maybe don’t know the difference between an MC and a rapper. Let’s be honest - Cam is just Cannibus with a ghost writer and a different producer. This is fake controversy over a weak rapper that doesn’t rank anywhere near the top 10. Besides, Jay already called out Cam on the ‘Takeover’ back in 2001 and he did it in one bar. That’s pretty much all this song deserves anyway. It seems a lot of you seem engrossed in the lifestyles, fashion, history, or what the difference is between an mc and a rapper. You all must work for entertainment tonight. Very good you all get a gold star. However when you’re just dealing with the essense of a diss record Cam has all the goods on his first and second tracks. Jay tried to talk slick on “the Takeover” and Nas handed his head back to him on a platter. After that debacle Jay(MC?) desperately lashed out like a twelve year old with the very forgetable “Super Ugly”. It was the same when Jay tried to get publicity for dissing mob deep or his mentor Jaz-O. So if you ride on yachts, don’t wear jersey’s over thirty and now you’re classy and cultured? The Rockerfellers and Rothchilds do the same are they classy and cultured? If you come up stepping on the backs of other people you’re not worth a penny. How you come up is important so keep that in mind young one. Jay is a legend…in his own mind. Folks are caught up in the illusion of other peoples lives and don’t know crap. Is it classy to steal companies, artists, girlfriends, songs, flows from other people? Top 5? KRS1, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Nas, Biggie, PAC, please not even close. “Reasonable Doubt ” was a classic everything else was hit singles but not classic albums. Cam’s (truth) record is legit and the notion that it is not is RIDICULOUS at best…

wuts with this Chancletas shit?? wuts so wrong to rock em without socks.. i understand.yall think thats really funny when u see someone with Chancletas? id wear em in the heat. sometimes i just feel like not wearing my af1 or whatever in the summer. ok its not very safe to run with em sandals … i wouldnt wear em if i have to go downtown coz they are not very comfortable after a while. u can be stuck wearing sneakers on but not sandals. im used to the hot countries and the beach.anyhow, no matter how hiphop you are, i find socks with chancletas ugly as hell. sandals are made to wear without socks!! mind as well wearing sneakers.and yes long jeans are okay if they are not supersized. if u know your feet are ugly dont wear sandals, especially with socks on coz they look like u came from the hospital with bandage wrapped around your feet. if u wear baggy clothes/jeans yeah its ugly.. but hey not everyone is wearing 4x their actual size.so chancletas with mid baggy jeans / nice cut. its okay. when yall gettin older… you will see it at a different angle. maturity grows!! =)
