Statements From Game and Big Fase
Game and his brother Big Fase have each released statements addressing the fued that has erupted between them. In a nutshell Game is saying that dudes took advantage of him and his success and Fase countered that he is responsible for Game’s career and that the life he portrays on record is actually Fase’s story. Below are exceprts from both statements:
I was forced to switch the domain of my former website theblackwallstreet.com to therealblackwallstreet.com due to the disrespect shown towards me from ex-employees who decided to turn their backs on me and my imprint, because they felt they weren’t getting enough money out of me. In the past year [2005] I have spent over $1.5 million dollars on my homies and employees of The Black Wallstreet label. I bought n***as new cars, gave n***as thousands of dollars in cash daily, paid for n***as to go on trips that hood n***as will never be able to go on in their lifetime. I took care of n***a’s kids, paid n***a’s rent, gave n***as jewelry and a lot of other s**t that I didn’t have to do. All that, and I HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR ANYTHING in return from them. I let n***as live, let them make money off ME using my name, selling my s**t all without asking for a cut, and gave them the opportunity of a lifetime to do whatever they want, opening the doors very few ever see to get in the business and giving them the chance to make something legal, positive, and legit out of their lives.
Basically, what I’ve done is I’ve set the stage and I created the backdrop for The Game. I mean, his n***as that have been visible for the past year, those have been my n***as. Basically, what I did, I provided the background story for Game. I got so much love where I am, and you know me and you never heard of my brother – you love him too. We don’t share the same mother, we share the same father. For lack of a better word, I certified his gangster. A year later, me and everybody that loves me, we’re left out here with nothing…My hood, which is Cedar Block, ain’t never been like the big gang where there are 200-300 n***gas. My hood is real family based. We got our perimeters. I don’t say have, because we really not that no more. The gang is the gang, but the opportunity that was before us was the possibly and the opportunity to turn all this into positives. And somebody that opposed me said, "Why would you let your brother represent your hood when he wasn’t really from there’" I did it to bring closure to this gang s**t.

Concert is how artist actually get money, not record sales. you get paid more for your performance more than you do on record sale especially when you a top rapper. I think most of the people on here, is losing the picture. It’s music, only music. The Game, 50, Snoop Dogg…. they are all trying to paint a picture. Which ever picture is real to a person, they buy it. Raps don’t get publicity, it’s the music. If the beat is right, and someone could halfway decently write, anyone could take their spots. No one goes into reading a gangsta book or watching a movie and thinking it’s real. It’s all some fictional stories that are made to hype their persona and make money. If you take away all the bull, the only thing left is the music. If you don’t like the music, don’t buy it. We get to carried away about if a brother is gangsta or not. I can care less, it’s all fake. We glamorize money, hoes and clothes and wonder why we are so far behind from the rest of the world. We really need to get a grip.

Speaking on game well his brother has always been his big homie even before the rap that is why game said he would like to thank Bigfase for molding him into the man he is today. I personally think that they moved entirely to fast. If you really think about it, it doesn’t matter where you from. Everyone knows some OG that is certified. I am pretty sure that everyone has seen some kid trying to live up to the hype of being gangsta and is now dead or in jail. But when you look at it all at the end of the day, how gangsta is it to be in jail or dead. There is so much money in this business, that we can all get in where we fit in. I think we really need to change what being gangsta really means. like taking this game that the every other successful politician plays and beating them in their own game. The Game and his brother will eventually patch whatever their beef is and 50 will probably end up beefing with all his label mates and every rapper in NY or where ever, but nothing will change. We will keep going to the Koreans and Chinese to buy our stuff, buying all our gas from the Arabs and we will continue to go to the Europeans for our jobs. Hip Hop is our way out of all this, however we are to busy finding out who is real to understand that we can being doing a lot more with our time and money. Every person has their own points and backgrounds. It would be hard for a white guy from the midwest to understand what is gangsta in LA, and for a guy from LA to understand NY and definitely NY to understand the dirty south, but we all have one thing in Common. We keep supporting people that don’t really give a dam about us. We all need to step up and handle our business for our seeds to come.
