Chris Rock comes off as an Uncle Tom to some? Wow! That shocked me. What’s really different from what he says and what Chappelle puts in his sketches. To me, Rock comes with more truth. It seems that the more truthful you get about things, the more people see you as an Uncle Tom. lol Typical American logic and double standard.

IMO….i might be the only person on the planet that does not care for no damn chappelle or his show….the crackhead dude was funny…but i know funnier comedians…..

as for setting us back….BET…bill cosby and his antics…yet and still having children out of wedlock…oprah not even associating with black folks…at least the ones we (the non-oreos) can identify with.

I think the site is a load of bull. I was believing it until they went to the extremes of what they said with the situations that happened such as Oprah and Robert Johnson paying off Dave’s local cable company to interrrupt specifically just Dave’s TV while he was watching Oprah at his house so that Oprah could tell Dave to stop his skits. Pure crap.

Also, to the poster above me, if you think Chris Rock’s comedy made him come off like he was an Uncle Tom then you really don’t understand his comedy at all. In no way does he come off like that if you get his jokes.

I got no beef with Chapelle brand of comedy.. Sure he harped on negative stereo types of blacks but he did it differently than say Chris Rock who I’m not a fan of. Chris Rock always came off like a uncle tom to me.

I heard Dave ended his show, because non-blacks ran with the stereotpyes and would say the word nigga, even when walking up to him.
