It’s official…

DJ Premier is working on the next Nas album. As you know the two are gracing this month’s issue of Scratch Magazine. Well, Spinemagazine was nice enough to post up scans of the whole interview for our reading pleasure, and in the article Premier goes on and on about how happy he is to be working with Nas. Let’s just hope Nas doesn’t screw this album up like he did Street’s Disciple, ‘cuz no amount of Premier beats can help that guy once he gets into mediocre rhyme mode.

Street Disciple was good dawg.. Either way, Premo + Nas = Klassiks.. But I do need Pete Rock and Kanye involved with this project.

Definitely. And I don’t know why people are saying that Nas’s rhymes weren’t up to par. He just had too much filler between those two discs. 14 tracks, and that shit would’ve been great.
