There are alot of Jay-bringing-Nas-on-stage rumors flying around lately. People are even talking about a collabo album. I heard that Miss Info went so far as to say that a Nas/Def Jam deal is about to be announced. UPDATE: There’s a brand new Nas interview over at MTV, where he talks about his search for a new label, his beef with 50, and his relationship with Jay. "I’m starting off something new. You might be surprised of who you see rolling with me."

Bang ‘Em Smurf and Domination, remember these guys? They were like the first people, besides Ja and them, to beef with 50 after he blew. Well, they’re album release party got shot up this weekend in Queens.

50 was recently on the Tim Westwood show in The U.K. and he made it known that if Dre were to work on Game’s next album, that would be cause for beef between 50 and the Dr. I don’t know, but according to Game, Dre is all over his next album. Whether or not it ever drops is another story…This greasy talk comes just month after some previous trash talking that 50 did where he blamed Dre for not putting Game in check when he got out of line.

King Magazine recently made a top 10 list of the worst perfomances by rappers in movies.  If you know me, you know I hate when rappers try to act, especially when some of them can’t even rap. Unlike the VH1 top 50 list, I can’t really argue with King’s list, although I’m not sure Dre deserves the number 3 spot for Training Day.  I’d rather watch him in that anyday over any 30 seconds of 2 Fast 2 Furious.

Despite media reports, DMX’s lawyer says he did NOT dance out of court the other day….he did however, get a chance to practice his jail pose on the court house steps.

New Jack City 2? Hey stranger things have happened… 

The Smoking Gun website today released transcripts of phone conversations between Chris (Lorenzo) Gotti and Kenneth ‘Supreme’ McGriff. During the conversations Mcgriff and Gotti discussed everything from  Ashanti’s relationship with Nelly, 50’s album sales, and the possibility of him approaching Diddy and Jay-Z for money to help his court case. Here are the good parts:

KM: All right I just thought I would give you a call hey um, I was going to write I was going to wrtie, I was going to reach out to Jay and um, and maybe Puff about some shorts for like for like my investigators and stuff - I shouldn’t right?

CL: Yeah you cool, why not?

KM: Yeah I was going to write a little short letter and give it to my investigator and let him talk to them you know what I mean?

CL:Yeah.

On 50’s album The Massacre:

CL: Everyone’s saying the album is garbage. Like I’m not just saying that, you know what I’m sayin.

KM: Yeahm yeah no, no, I mean its copy cat shit man, he’s singing and dancing and everything on his joints now.

CL: Yeah.

KM: But I be thinking, I be thinking he’s staging like, staging uh shootings, shootings, like he creates these things.

CL: I be thinking the same thing, man. 

And finally on Ashanti and Nelly:

KM: So, so, is, is Ashanti still fucking with him?

CL: Nigger, I don’t know! Yo, if I knew, I would say she’s probably still fucking the nigger, but, you know, who cares.

KM: Yeah.

CL: At the end of the day, it is what it is. I mean that’s a grown woman. She can do what the fuck she want to do. 

If you read the whole thing, you’ll see that not only does Preme have a serious stuttering problem, but him and the Gotti brothers were more than a little worried about  50’s sales numbers and how Interscope was  moving against Murder Inc behind the scenes.  You would think someone like Preme would know better than to discuss any of this shit, especially the 50 shit, over the phone from a federal prison, but i guess not.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A man was charged Monday with killing rapper Beanie Sigel’s stepfather, police said.

Kevin Green, 22, of Philadelphia, was brought to Philadelphia from Montgomery County Prison and charged with the murder of Samuel Derry III, 46, whose charred and bullet-ridden body was found on a city street last week.

Philadelphia police Cpl. Jim Pauley said Green had been held in Montgomery County on narcotics-related charges and that police believe the killing was drug-related. Pauley declined to comment on what led police to Green.

The article also says that the police don’t think the murder had anything to do with Beanie’s acquital.
