BMF Crew shut down by Feds
This weekend the DEA took down notorious drug crew BMF with huge multi state raids, arresting dozens of members and confiscating enourmous amounts of cash and cocaine. The feds grabbed a couple of bricks and 3 million in cash, plus claim to already have intercepted 632 more kilos of coke and another 11 million in cash and assets. Brothers Terry and Demetrius ‘Big Meech’ Flenory were charged as ringleaders of the organization.
The BMF name has come up in connection with some of the most notorious incidents in hip hop such as the murder of Diddy’s bodyguard Anthony ‘Wolf’ Jones and even the 1995 shooting of Tupac Shakur. Meech, shown above in the center, was arrested and charged in the 2003 murders of Wolf and another man in Atlanta and was still out on $50,000 bail.
None of this should really surprise anybody who’s been paying attention. In the last few years BMF has become increasingly high profile, and I think most people know it wasn’t because of their musical talent. When your gangster is a hot topic on internet message boards it might be time to tone things down a little if you know what I mean. One interesting thing is how the feds allege the crew laundered some of the drug money. They would pay inflated prices for winning Detroit Lotto Tickets and then buy cars and cribs with the legit winnings.
Young Jeezy has been known to run with the crew and this year they had been working with rapper Bleu Davinci who had a hot joint with Jadakiss that circulated on mixtapes earlier this year. I guess he might want to look for another label.

you are all looking at this the wrong way. the only reason they are involved in the music business is to have other routes to launder their money. they get a good distribution deal with an indy company, make about 7-8 dollars per 16 dollar record, and all they have to do is buy 3 million of their own records, and they just laundered $1.5 million. same goes for video budgets and production budgets. they have agreements with record companys. they pay for all of their own shit out of pocket cash, and then get reimbursed by check through the record company. it makes their money legit. of course its dumb to sell drugs and all of that, but then again 3 million in cash and 5 million in assets, AND i hear this gang has a ceo based in atlanta. BMF is nothing new. look how long they have been doing this.

This is amazing. I cannot believe how many people are commenting, fighting and threatening on this topic. The case isn’t over until the verdict is read. Meech and T are some really cool people and even though they caught a case, the right attorneys, discovery and loopholes can make all the difference in the world. Anyone who is in the game knows that one good case can bankrupt you, but the right attorney can make all the difference in the world. I hope that Meech and T are able to get out of this because they have the ability to do some great things for the community…legally, which is what they were doing in the music industry. If you can hustle, you can run any business. Since its really only about money, the feds need to just let hustlers know how much tax they want.
However, too much is being said on this forum by many that may or may not know them. Alright Let me say this. Yes, those of you who knew BMF or those of you who’s seen BMF kick it know that they were flashy. But any black man who was not raised with a silver spoon in there mouth will get flashy when they get soemthing they never had.
I personaly had a opportunity to be friends with some of these guys and hang out too. Beleive me I always had a blast, from teh ATL to the MIA, To LA. One thing I can say about these guys is that they made sure everybody that was down with them ATE. They made sure everyone who was out with them had a good time. No one was left behind. They looked out for people. They took young dudes in, who didn’t have anything or anyone and made them feel like they had somethin to live for wether it was wrong or not. I aint praising the life of a drug dealer, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. everybody aint equipted to do what they (BMF) did. I personally loved the guys who I knew. There was one in particular that was like a brother to me. Kept me out of shit I had no biz knowin or being around, and he LOOKED out for me. If I ever needed anything I had it. The woman who were berated by them put themselves in that position to be berated, cuz chicks would do anything just to hang, but if you came in and was real about yourself, you was treated with respect. Women want to get money too. And they aint gotta get it just by sex.

People in ATL loved these dudes man. They had divisions everywhere man. The GA division had a lot of people from ATL involved. Dudes, and FEMALES that where in college. THAT GRADUATED. COLLEGE EDUCATION WAS PAID FOR SOME people THAT HAD NO FUTURE! So those of you who downgrade BMF is because you were never allowed the chance to be apart of what they were about. You never were invited to MIA all expenses paid for a week to have a good time on boats, scooters, jet ski’s, eaten good, ridden good, partying good, and drinking good just to get away from reality.
