Tonight’s the Night
Well tonight is the big night. In about 10 hours Hovie will take the stage at Continental Airlines Arena in NJ and let somebody have it. The big question on everybody’s mind is who? Well the AHH Rumors section came through with a last minute theory this morning:
“I DECLARE WAR” RUMORS
This is the big day, everybody. I know some aren’t even motivated to know whats going on tonight at the “I Declare War” New York Powerhouse Concert with Jay-Z and Friends, but I have gotten the rumors. I pierced the Def Jam walls to get the scoop from within “the building.” Don’t quote me – I ain’t saying nothing. Anyway, I heard that Jay is going after 50 Cent – not Game, not Dame and not Jim and Cam’ron. Now, on top of this, rumor has it that Jay-Z will be joined by an all-star coalition of supporters (hint: enemies of 50 & G-Unit). I’m not going to mention the names of the people that I heard are now down with Jay, but lets say that a lot of beef was squashed for this to happen – if its going down. Honestly, I have a hard time believing it, because it would be so incredible if it occurs. We’ll see. Now, if you want to join into the conversation, head on over to the Ill Community and jump in.
I can’t even lie to you, I hope this happens. Like I’ve said 50 is outta control and needs to be made an example of. Who better to do it than Jay? Now picture this: Jay and Nas vs. 50? Or how about Jay and Kiss vs. 50? Either way Curtis loses. I don’t care what anybody says, Curtis can’t win in that situation. Sure his movie will do aight, and he’ll still sell records, but this would mark the official beginning for the end of G-Unit. Mark my words.

What’s the basis. 50 has been giving Jay daps in interviews and everyone knows he’s said he’d like to build up his G-Unit empire like Def Jam, so what’s the foundation for Jay bringing war to 50? It doesn’t add up but i hope it’s true.

>> so what’s the foundation for Jay bringing war to 50?
thats what I’m saying, but at this point I don’t care. maybe Jay feels like the rest of us and is just sick of his shit.

Hmmm I am supposed to care or rather believe that multimillionaire Jayz has beef with multimillionaire 50 cent? I am a fan of both. They just went on tour two summers ago. Reality is this beef is manufactured. Manufactured to beef cuts on c-list def jam artists. I am not going to buy memphis bleek or noriega or Fabulous because he has a posse cut dissing g-unit. Reality is there will be no winner except for the record labels and saps that promote this bullshit. If you dont like how someone carries themself then dont cop the album. Tons of artists are out there support good music and not manufactured beef.

^ You know you kinda have a point about this being manufactured. Why would Jay all of a sudden go at 50 when Jim Jones, Game and Cam are all much more likely candidates. At the end of the day Jay is one of the only M.C.’s 50 still shows any kind of respect for. Jay says that the reason for all of this is people have been talking greasy. Sure 50 has been talking greasy, just not about Jay.
Tuesday night at the 40/40 opening in Atlantic city they asked Jay if any rappers had taken his advice and tried to make up with him before showtime. Here’s what he said:
“Nah, hip-hop is a very prideful thing”
“The list is in,” he said. “It’s not set in stone, but it’s pretty much 80 percent done. Y’all know every time I come out, it’s going to be something special. … It’s going to be a moment. Everybody is going to have a good time.”

BUt if u check the history 50 first started getting pub back when Jay called him out during summer jam that year Vol 3 came out when he came out and spit that line “Im about a dollar who the fuck is 50 cent” and if you pull out Volume 3 there are a whole lot of shots at 50 on that album.
October 27th, 2005 at 4:46 pm
^ This is true. But since then they’ve toured together and everything so I don’t know, did I miss a slick 50 comment somewhere?

I’d be shocked if this happened. But then again, I heard 50 wouldnt let Jadakiss sign with DefJam so maybe thats why Jay-Z might go at him.
