Nas is the best lyricest out there right now. Sence BIG and Pac deceased there has been compatition in being the best alive. The only one that I really believe that can stand with Nas is Jay-z. Other than that there is no one else lyrical enough to dream up something like Nas. You do have to give credit to other MC’s like Jada Kiss, KRS One, Emenim, even the late great Big Pun and Big L. There is no album that have ever been made by another artist that is better than Illmatic by Nas, it’s a classic album. If there is any disagreements about what I have just said then wait until Nas’s new album NASDAQ DOW JONES coming this in early 2006.

Nas is the finest lyricist out right now and has been for a while. His lyricts have always been there, just the production wasn’t. He is still my favorite. Listening to artist on the radio today is just pathetic.
