Watch a Recap of Sean Price’s Imperius Rex Release Party

Friday, August 11th, 2017

On Tuesday in NYC, Duck Down held a release party for Imperius Rex and a celebration of the life of Sean Price at Brooklyn Bowl. The evening featured a Gong Show Karaoke contest where fans were invited onstage to perform classics from P while be judged on their knowledge of lyrics, flow and delivery by Rock, Dru Ha, Bernadette and Buckshot. Some fans pulled off their performances, and others not so much, with a couple of folks getting the gong treatment in the middle of their sets. Highlights include a performance of “Operation Lockdown” by Rock and Bernadette, and Ruste Juxx doing “Don’t Say Shit to Ruck.” A big lowlight was the guy who stepped on stage and tried to perform while reading P’s bars from his phone. Come on duke.

Watch above and go pick up a copy of Imperius Rex, it is undeniably fire.
