After a couple of weeks of making headlines for all of the wrong reasons, Kanye West appears to be back to work. Recently on his Instagram account, Pete Rock posted a trio of videos, one of which included the caption, “Playing 45s in da lab with Kanye West”. The three videos don’t actually show Kanye, but eagle-eyed posters over at the KTT forums noticed that a list written in a notebook sitting on the boards appeared to show a video game-themed tracklist of some sort.
Some have speculated that the list could be a working tracklist for Kanye’s Turbo Grafx 16 album, the one he teased following the release of The Life of Pablo earlier this year. It could also potentially be a list of games that he intends to sample for that or some other project. In any event, it looks like Ye is looking to chase his demons away with good old hard work. Continue below to watch the videos and check out the tracklist. Be sure to give the instrumental that is playing in the third clip a listen as well.

The esteemed araabMUZIK is the latest producer to take the Mass Appeal “Rhythm Roulette” challenge. As it turns out, he doesn’t sample from vinyl, so after hitting up Moodies Records in the Bronx for 3 CDs that fit his style so perfectly that I’m not entirely sure were selected randomly, he ends up making a very Dipset sounding banger.
Listen to the new Joe Budden album, which araab produced in its entirety, here.

Meek Mill and his Dreamchasers crew are the subjects f the latest Noisey Raps documentary. This would have been infinitely more interesting if it wasn’t filmed last year, before all of the Drake, Game and Beanie Sigel beef. But Nicki is in it, so I guess that counts for something?
In the second episode of ScHoolBoy Q’s Groovy Tony vlog series chronicling his adventures on the Blank Face Tour, Q and the crew toss the pigskin around during some downtime and get his personal trainer WillTheLife absolutely shitfaced for his birthday. Good times.
