After a furious 2015, Future took it relatively light in 2016, dropping just two albums and heading up DJ Esco’s Project E.T. mixtape. That would probably be enough for most artists, but when you consider his normal work rate, it was a bit of a slowdown from the game-changing previous year. Now he’s back with his new self-titled project FUTURE, which he only just announced a couple of days ago. That new Rick Ross collab is noticeably absent, and the album features no other guest appearances. The only track that was previously available is “Poppin Tags”.

Bonus: In the first two episodes of DJ Esco’s ‘Night Vision’ vlog series, he and Future are shown in the studio previewing a couple of tracks that didn’t make the album.
