Watch the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards Performances & Highlights

It’s BET Hip-Hop Awards time again. If pre-taped awards shows aren’t the type of thing you schedule time to watch, we’ve got you covered on basically everything significant that happened during Tuesday night’s broadcast. Gucci Mane, Young Thug, Travis Scott and Quavo opened the show with a medley of “1st Day Out Tha Feds”, “Last Time” and “Pick Up The Phone” which was quite lit.

Continue below for more performances from Dae Dae, D.R.A.M, Lil Yachty, Desiigner, T.I., 21 Savage, Isaiah Rashad, Lil Uzi Vert and others. Plus, and this might be the only reason you’re here, we’ve also included all of the freestyle cyphers, particularly the State Property reunion headed up by Beanie Sigel, Freeway and Peedi Crack which was the clear standout. Dave East, Young M.A, A-Boogie, Kur and several others also go in during their segments.

Watch below, but just be warned that everything auto-plays because Viacom hates us.

  1. King James Says:

2016 rap game boring, think I outgrew this shit.

  2. AmpGeez a.k.a. Strawberita Shawty Says:

Too many weirdos with colorful dreads, non rapping ass rappers and straight up shuckin.and juvung coonery.

Gucci, State Prop, K.R.I.T and Wayne kilt their performances and alot of the cyphers were thorough….I guess to balance out the bullshit.

Snoop deserved the praise, T.I. is in full on acting mode, as in, acting like an activist (Like that’s gonna delay the death of his rap career), Busta looks horrible, Khaled surpassed anyone and everyone’s expectations, I’m happy for Joe and Remy, Lecrae’s spot hit me in the heart and Desiigner needs to get all the way the fuck outta here.

  3. Brolic Fonts Says:

The diversity of style shows rap is in a good place. Something for everybody. Solid lyricism in many parts of the show. Wayne owned the cypher though by blending the best of all worlds.
