Danny Brown Premieres “Rolling Stone” on NPR Podcast

Danny Brown recently sat down with the big homie Timmhotep Aku for NPR’s All Songs +1 podcast to discuss a myriad of subjects including his love for Nas and “If I Ruled The World”, which Danny says is his favorite Rap song of all time, the honesty of narrative Rap and his desire to take risks with his music.

At around the 26:00 minute mark, they preview the track “Rolling Stone” off Danny’s new album Atrocity Exhibition and he explains how the collaboration with Petite Noir came about after a Twitter encounter. Finally, they discuss the Kendrick Lamar and Ab-Soul assisted cut “Really Doe” and dive into the “freak show” concept behind the album.
