Kanye Says Him & Drake Have An Album Coming

Kanye West joined Drake in Toronto tonight for the second of two Summer Sixteen Tour shows and the curtain call for this year’s OVO Fest. During some banter with the crowd, Kanye very strongly suggested that a new collaborative album from the two was impending. Then Drake came out and did not dispute this claim and Ye went into a performance of “Father Stretch Your Hands”. Both of these guys have hinted at a joint project before, but I’d say announcing it in such a high profile forum is a good indication that it might actually be happening, and possibly sooner than we expect. Andrew over at FSD raises some excellent questions about how the release of such a project would work with both Drake and Ye being so heavily beholden to Apple Music and TIDAL respectively, but I suppose that’s for the lawyers and niggas in Jordans to figure out.

In other news, 2 Chainz has a new mixtape coming this Friday called Daniel Son Necklace Don and Drake will make a guest appearance.
