On first listen I gotta say it’s underwhelming. I was looking for some joints by Jake One. Its a pop album. Prob go quadruple platinum in a week tho

    And I’m a Drake fan but let’s be real….

Where Nation at? I’m holding all Canadians personally responsible.

I thought he would ditch this annoying flow

  5. King James Says:

It’s funny in the Zach Lowe interview he walked around the question about Canadian rappers sounding American

    Mr. Houstlantavegas

  6. King James Says:

Man I said the same thing! Drake spent too much time around Future or somethin bc there are songs where he sounds way too robotic.

Honestly I think IYRTITL was better than this too. Hate to bring it up but maybe Drakes flow lost a lil juice since Quentin Miller isn’t there to help write.

Anybody who has ran through QM’s catalogue can confirm without a DOUBT that Drake been borrowing his flow for a minute.

Is it trash because you heard most of the leaks? I’m 11 tracks in and thought it was good so far. And I didn’t care for IYRTITL

  11. King James Says:

I wish Drake & 40 would make more tracks like “Weston Roads Flow”. 40 perfected the 90’s sample game

Not a bad album very RnB heavy
The rap songs are pretty dope
7.75/10 overall after the first few listens
    Weston Road is the standout
    Views is dope too

  13. Pockets Says:

Man wtf were you expecting? This is exactly in the same vein as IYRTITL. Actually it’s a natural progression of that tape. Drake is BIG for our generation, where you can zone out and occasionally find the deep cut on the album. When I want something from someone who’s like one of my boys I listen to Cole (literally Bas lives across the street from boy lol). Drake is like a vacay when I don’t wanna contemplate my world all the way.

and as a throwback to the old Nah: if ur salty about the big comment come see me in brooklyn. Xoxoxoxo
