Video: Pusha T Breaks Down “Crutches, Crosses, Caskets”

Speaking to Rob Markman for Genius, Pusha T breaks down his new Diddy produced track “Crutches, Crosses, Caskets” and its theme of victimhood in Rap. Rob specifically asks him if the line about “Old Niggas slappin young niggas” was a reference to the rumored 2014 altercation between Puff and Drake, and he takes a pass on denying it.

Last night, Push debuted “Sunshine,” a track on which he addresses the plague of police brutality in America, on The Daily Show. Check that footage out at the link below, and go here to watch Pusha’s new interview with Ebro on Hot 97.
