A$AP Rocky Covers Billboard

Thursday, April 30th, 2015

Rocky is the cover boy on this week’s issue of Billboard. You can go here to check out a preview of the cover story before it drops this Friday, but the main takeaways are that Rocky isn’t really into the Kendrick album, Mark Ronson has been revealed as a contributor to Rocky’s new album ALLA and that album now has a confirmed release date of May 12th.

UPDATED: Read the cover story here. He speaks on the loss of Yams, dabblingw with psychedelics, his character in the film Dope, and more. He also played some new tracks from ALLA for writer Dorian Lynskey:

Rocky clicks his trackpad and fires up a Ronson production based on an interpolation of “In a Broken Dream,” a 1972 hit by Rod Stewart and Python Lee Jackson. Like the other songs he plays, featuring Danger Mouse and an unknown British singer-guitarist named Joe Fox, it’s gorgeous, slurred, reflective and audaciously psychedelic.
