Jay Electronica Talks Sobriety at Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival

Jay Electronica made his triumphant return to the spotlight this past weekend with a highly anticipated guest appearance at the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. During his set he solidified his spot as one of the most important MCs in the game who’s never dropped an LP by bringing Jay-Z out for the Brooklyn crowd.

In the clip above, he speaks to Revolt about struggling with drugs and alcohol and how those vices have hindered his progression. He reveals that he is now clean and sober explains that this performance was his chance to celebrate his newly clear head with fans and family.
