Jeezy Arrested Over Fight with Son

TMZ is reporting that Jeezy turned himself in to police last Friday on two grand jury warrants that stem from a 2012 altercation with his teenage son. Apparently Jeezy and Junior got into a pretty heated physical dispute during which the Rapper threatened to kill his son, saying he would do it if he thought he could get away with it. Because of his statements during the fight, Jeezy was hit with charges of making terroristic threats and false imprisonment in addition to battery.

I don’t know, but as a parent, I don’t want to live in a world where you can’t beat the ever living shit out of your teenage son if they give you lip. Beating on defenseless little kids is one thing, but at 15 or 16, you’re a grown ass man. I certainly got my ass handed to me by pop dukes a couple of times, and in retrospect, I deserved all of it.

UPDATE: Jeezy has issued a statement on the arrest:

Jay Jenkins, better known as rapper Young Jeezy, was recently made aware of charges in Atlanta, Georgia. Contrary to reports, Mr. Jenkins presented himself to address these charges. We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy.

    yo wait what?

like what does that have to do with anything?

  3. madeinmilwaukee Says:

Not mad at Jeezy for this…

  4. Wait. What? Says:

You think it’s cool to throw your 16 year old son through a glass door and fuck em up? FOH with that child abuse

  5. Not Pertinent Says:

If Jeezy threw his son through a glass door, that’s one thing, but the whole issue here is respect & if the 16 year old lacks respect towards his father, throwing him through a glass might not be something that I would do personally, but like Chris Rock says, I do understand. The son probably had ZERO problems spending money that JEEZY earned, so he should have ZERO problems respecting his pops. Too many kids walk around with this sense of entitlement without contributing to anything but running up bills…
