K.Dot (Kendrick Lamar) – Y.H.N.I.C. (Mixtape)

This is quite a find. Here we have the first mixtape Kendrick ever dropped, back in 2003 when he was 16 years old and still going by the name K.Dot. Y.H.N.I.C., or Youngest Head Nigga In Charge, finds Kendrick rapping over a variety of instrumentals from the period, including Lil Wayne’s “Go DJ” and Snoop’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot”, and even features pre-blog era guest verses from Joe Budden and Freeway on a track called “Ride Up”.
