CF: remember seein on the news in NY some dude got caught on tape trying to rape this broad. She was all kindsa screaming. Dude had his pants down to his ankles trying to pull down her sweat pants, got one cheek exposed before he finally gave up. Foul shit.

    ^^

    Foul indeed, but umm…

  4. JDS of the Cobra Kai Dojo Says:

    “Gotham’s Reckoning” >>>>

  5. The Shot Clock Says:

i dont want to make the argument, but the argument could be made that ghostface and cam are the most influential NY rappers in history

  6. rex hussla Says:

Jay Rock went from the only one that anybody heard of to the weak link in a years time

  7. ChainHeavy Says:

    Frank Oceans album is excellent.

  8. rex hussla Says:

The fact that Ghostface can rock a durag under the fitted and a plain white t or polo sized at XXXXXXXL down to his knees [ll] in 2012 and nobody says a goddamn thing just proves that he’s the GOAT

  9. Free J Says:

Jay Rock went from the only one that anybody heard of to the weak link in a years time

Best R&B album in some time.

  11. The Shot Clock Says:

    Frank Oceans album is excellent.

    ^

from what i’ve heard the production and harmonies are on point.

problem is his lyrics are mad cheesy, sound like high school poetry. there’s a big difference between lyrics and poetry. and his voice is on that whiny shit that the weeknd, drake, and all these new niggas on, can’t fuck with it man.

  12. Troyvul Says:

After one listen. Frank’s Older work ( beofre the scandal) > His Current album.

    Subject to change tho

  13. Bones Jackson Says:

Alot of the songs this dude has sound exactly the same..on the same album..

and sometimes he sounds like a mix between musiq soulchild and Mario

    still good though

  14. Bricktop Says:

Nosign his influence, but Ghostface is definitely in the “most consistently brolic catalogue” convo. Quality-wise, I don’t believe it’s possible for him to slack on an album – lyrically, musically, sonically, etc.

  15. Harlem World Says:

still yet to hear the funboys album, no homo

but if pharrells on it, its most likely an instant classic

  16. Bricktop Says:

Whatever happened to that guy Juice(?) from California?

  17. Harlem World Says:

ghostface aint even write his best 2 albums

    stop it!

he only made it worse by denying it, a couple tracks on the innanets of him using lord superbs verses only confirmed it

  18. Bricktop Says:

    Gays make good music.
I have no explanation for this.
    It just is.

  19. Troyvul Says:

    ^
Blackwallstreet filled for Chapter 11. Casualty of freedom

  20. JDS of the Cobra Kai Dojo Says:

WORD @ Frank sounding like Musiq Soulchild.

“Sweet Life” is a Musiq song through & through.

  21. Harlem World Says:

frank ocean is ok vocally, his lyrics are supposed to be the deal maker

but if there is talk about man on man intimacy on channel orange , i wont even cue up the torrentz link

    frank ocean tho >

    nhjic

  22. Bricktop Says:

ghostface aint even write his best 2 albums
    ^
    You really wanna do this?

  25. Bricktop Says:

    I’ll wait.

^ comes along with being a free spirited fuckchild able to conjure a females deepest emotions, and to interpret such and speak on it in man language… No disrespect to gays tho.

  27. The Shot Clock Says:

and sometimes he sounds like a mix between musiq soulchild and Mario

    ^

yea maybe thats my issue. he’s being billed as something new but apart from some ill production dude seem like the same production-line style rnb we been getting for the past decade plus. the most unique thing about it is how much he relied on the internet and his alignment with odd future. he’s probably a better song writer than he is a performer.

  28. Bricktop Says:

    *Harlems it up*

Cormega wrote Illmatic, IWW, AND Ether.

  29. cOLD Says:

Show me a Ghostface album as equally bad as or worse than either Kingdom Come, BP3, or Nastradamus.

^ Wizard of Poetry in Emerald City..

In all fairness I aight hear it in its entirety, but ghost smuggled ass sandwiches into the booth.

  30. Troyvul Says:

Frank really pulled the okey doke

  31. cOLD Says:

stop it with the Ghost slander Harlem…Superb really wrote whole albums?!?!! Don’t tell me you drank that Tony Yayo kool aid

^ he not only drank it he still buzzing from it, 7 yrs later.

  32. Troyvul Says:

GFK and Frank Ocean in the booth right now.

    Dont even ask me how.

  33. cOLD Says:

being bitch stuck in a mans body, is a gay rnb singers advantage.

  34. E aka Mac with the Cheese Says:

    ^
Ghost dosen’t really have anything like BP1 or Stillmatic in his catalogue either

  35. Harlem World Says:

he wrote the WHOLE of supreme clientele and most of bulletproof wallets

    this BEEN confirmed

get ya google search on, theres a few tracks of ghost using verses superb already used

  36. E aka Mac with the Cheese Says:

GFK son and Frank Ocean in the booth right now.

    Dont even ask me how.

    ^
    fixed for accuracy

  37. JDS of the Cobra Kai Dojo Says:

Lol yo, I remember when niggas really tried to say Cormega wrote most of IWW.

Like, when has Mega EVER been that nice?

  38. cOLD Says:

Ghost dosen’t really have anything like BP1 or Stillmatic in his catalogue either

^ his 1st 2 albums were classics… this fact cant and shouldnt be argued.

  39. cOLD Says:

    ^ you’re seriously bugging…

    … a wise man told me…

  40. Bricktop Says:

^ Wizard of Poetry in Emerald City..
    ^
That was the pseudo r&b project, right? Lol, honestly I consider that the same level as Mobb’s 1st album – I don’t even acknowledge it. But fair is fair.

  41. E aka Mac with the Cheese Says:

Jay-Z was rapping about growing up selling crack over an Annie sample

    g.o.a.t mc

Nah man, you gon’ have to back that up.

All I pull up are endless videos/interviews of a dusty, disgruntled Superb getting at Ghost and Rae on some Jaz-O shit.

  43. The Shot Clock Says:

Ghost dosen’t really have anything like BP1 or Stillmatic in his catalogue either

^ his 1st 2 albums were classics… this fact cant and shouldnt be argued.

    ^

and bulletproof wallets and pretty toney were both at least 50% ill.

  44. rex hussla Says:

He wrote hooks, or songs? That doesn’t make any kind of sense to me…lyrics are the same as they always were and have always been.

    *blindfully stans*

  45. cOLD Says:

All I pull up are endless videos/interviews of a dusty, disgruntled Superb getting at Ghost and Rae on some Jaz-O shit.

^ thats the one. Ghost cleared this up long time ago. Superp was present in some studio sessions. And all them would bounce ideas off each other… “like it sound ill when you say it like this” or “say it this way instead”…

the same chemistry when Dre made the Chronic…

  46. Bricktop Says:

Ghost dosen’t really have anything like BP1 or Stillmatic in his catalogue either
    ^
And I would never claim otherwise. Ironman & Supreme are classics, and the remainder of his catalogue hasn’t strayed much in terms of overall quality. That was my only point. I’d never say that the best Ghost LP could ever rival the best Nas or Jay.

  47. E aka Mac with the Cheese Says:

Ghost dosen’t really have anything like BP1 or Stillmatic in his catalogue either

^ his 1st 2 albums were classics… this fact cant and shouldnt be argued.

    ^
also factual, I just hold Nas & Jay-Z in higher esteem considering their albums got praised outside of a larger circle than just east coast or “real hip hop” fans

it’s harder to make music that appeals to a broader range of fans

  48. The Shot Clock Says:

Jay-Z was rapping about growing up selling crack over an Annie sample

    g.o.a.t mc

    ^

Camel is the greatest capitalist in rapper history. nothing else.

  49. Troyvul Says:

    Gucci Mane > Ghostface

  50. ChainHeavy Says:

I don’t even think Franks taking as much from neo-soul and RnB.If you really listen to his lyrics,he’s much more like early Police than anybody in RnB.Like Synchronicity era.
