    ^ I think I’m losing out not coppin’ a pair those but my 20 dollar Sony joints have yet to fail on me. I’m too cheap to cop a pair of headphones when I got a pair still runnin’

  5. Harlem World Says:

    I remember watching them on television when I was really young, when that record came out. Did it influence my vocal style? I can’t sing like him. I think my vocal style is just what I could scram together. The Thriller album also changed my life. “Billie Jean” changed my life.

    The songs I wrote for Justin Timberlake’s album [Justified], I originally wrote for Michael Jackson, although we modified them a bit. I told Michael that, and he was like, “You’re kidding me! You’re kidding me! That’s so wonderful!” Then he sang it in Justin’s style. He could sing just like Justin, just like R Kelly. Michael was one of the most incredible performers of all time, and he was also by far one of the best beatboxers ever.

    ==================
    Damn, JT did the tracks justice with Neptunes supervision, no doubt

    but I can’t believe he never got to sing on them

    thats another one for the “What If Machine” :(

    frank ocean, one of the best new artists in a while

    but i wish he would have kept his coming out a secret, till after this album was out

    because he will forever be labelled “the bi black singer”

    like, sure it will boost his sales x career – and its good hes not pretending to be someone hes not

    but that label is always gonna overshadow his artistry

    no article, review, etc will ever be made without that being mentioned

    does he really want that? no homo

    Prince’s debut abum was supposed to be produced by Maurice White and Earth Wind & Fire, when they were in their Grammy prime (1977)…Prince and his then manager Owen Husney wanted more creative control and were leery of Maurice’s reputation as a tyrant and egomaniac…industry people thought prince was fucking up a golden opportunity to work with gods….he said fuck school and became his own god…
