Well, they were interviewing each person and once it got to O, Charlamagne was asking Ross is it going to be hard to get people to take Omarion seriously because he’s “the butt of a lot of jokes”, and O cut that nigga off and said “Nah, the butt of YOUR jokes”.

The way he said it though was like he was trying to get Charlamagne to man-up and own his words.

Then, Charlamagne was asking O if he thought Raz B putting it out there that he might have gotten “Sandusky’d” would take away from him getting his career back on track, and O’s answer just sounded mature basically on some “People say a lot of things but that doesn’t make it true”.

Char just came off looking mad corny and gossipy for bringing it up.

neither are a reliable source for hip-hop …anybody who works for them is a fuckin’ sucka

    bitter much? hahahaaa

I don’t think they are tastemakers or anything, but URB, Pitchfork Mass Appeal (RIP – GOAT magazine) or Fader cover a lot of independent hip-hop before a lot of mainstream outlets do. I mean, sometimes it feels like they just want to jock something “new” but it’s still exposure and it’s a different crowd then they typical “hip-hop” fan

First time I ever heard of a Wiz Khalifa was in URB magazine when dude was like 14 or something…these indie outlets do their thing from time to time. That’s how a lot of these rappers get on that Summer Concert Festival circuit.
