where did the durag get its bad name..a piece of cloth that covers the head..much like a tam, a fitted, a basebal cap..a yarmulke..worn by mostly blacks why is it demonized so?

it isn’t the durag, it’s the select group of those who wear it and the pass they receive for their anti-social behavior

when 9-11 attack rocked the nation, everyone wearing a headwrap or muslim garment was thrown in a box…they hop on a train, everybody move to the next car.

only through diligence and earning someone’s UNDERSTANDING over their respect did we educate ourselves on mid-east cultural education.

the same brute masculinity that inner city blacks are scared to relinquish is the nucleus of the very krux that keeps us confined to the ghetto…giving ignorant black men a pass to act ignorant by accepting it and not distancing ourselves from the behavior, and unfortunately most ignorant broke niggas wear durags.

on the surface its jokingly looked at..a 100 niggaz with their head wrapped in white silk is much more menacing than a million niggaz with mets, yankee, boston fitted

why was the durag demonized..could the cops not easily identify us with our white tees and white durags?

my detractors will argue that the dirty durag niggaz killed the movement and i do agree in part..some niggaz rocked the brown whites for months..but ive seen just as many dirty fitteds
