Video: Nardwuar vs. Curren$y Pt. 3

Another good one for the books. Spitta also talks about doing a song with Nardwuar.

“Dog why you always try to make me cry on this show dog” – Curren$y

  2. why? Says:

    Lispright.com

  3. Harlem World Says:

There was an interview Spitta did not too long ago

where he says he worked in a meat market (ll)

and was about to work at Toys-R-Us until someone (it was either Master P or Wayne, I forgot) told him to join them

Just shows how the road to riches/middle class suburban life is a rocky journey

  4. tHe kiD franKiE Says:

    Immediately clicks play

    Stoned immaculate

U niggas is starving stealing sandwiches out there

    We eatin

  5. JDS of the Cobra Kai Dojo Says:

“Corvette Doors” off of Muscle Care Chronicles is a dope record.

  6. Harlem World Says:

“its a whole nother worrrrld round here honey baby”

    Sunroof still on repeat.

  7. London Bloke Says:

I like a lot of currensy music i just dont get the tkf way of lookin at it

As if him as spitta are friends, both living the JET life cause he drinks a few bottles of moderately expensive alcohol on weeknights after work

  8. The Shot Clock Says:

Wonder if you thought it was a zombie or some shit…even for a split second

    ^

    HAD TO. 2012

  9. The Shot Clock Says:

P was smart for getting nardwuar on the team

  10. tHe kiD franKiE Says:

    ^he is I and I am him
    Slim wit da tilted grin
    What’s yo name fooooollllll

  11. London Bloke Says:

I suppose Spitta talking about moderate wealth, ie. alcohol and weed is more identifiable than Jay-z Audemar and Maybach money

He still just rapping and you still a customer though…funding his actually carefree life whilst going to work next morning, to an un-JET job, unlike him

  12. Harlem World Says:

Don’t you ever get inspired by lyrics and words?

Nas might say something that makes me look at the world a lil different

Jay, Spitta might say something to motivate me to work harder

I got that Chinese/West African style grind

If i’m not doing something, I feel useless

No sign any Busta slander.I mean really what more do you want the nigga to do musically that he has`nt done??Be glad he`s still around. His legacy is established, not too many emcees can fuck with him straight up on some rap shit. The king of feature appearances.

    —————

    word..

    his career BEEN underrated…

  15. tHe kiD franKiE Says:

Im just sayin there is a message in this guys music if u really listen

    You can achieve your dreams

  16. Harlem World Says:

Dr Dre, opening lines on The Recipe

“every morning when I wake up
money on mind – go – time to get caked up”

    So simple, yet effective.

If you got plans and goals in life, this message will never get played out

  17. Harlem World Says:

money on my mind * > money on mind

    My bad.

  18. London Bloke Says:

The message more inspires me to work towards that life, like to stay hungry, like Jay, not fool myself into thinking I’m currently living JET through cheap representations of wealth like Currensy

Currensy songs more make me think to enjoy what you have now.

Jay is go get more. Capitalism music

Both are needed in life though. Got to appreciate now whilst striving for later.

see, this is the problem with niccas (or maybe you just playing devils advocate lol)

but y’all should see this as a stepping stone to something better

and you should be happy you got work in the first place

people out there with doctorates, phD’s and cant find work

  20. London Bloke Says:

No-sign “you’re already living the life through me” kinda messages.

  21. Yasser Pair-a-gats Says:

This nicca built a entire career off of rappin-bout marijuana usage and sub-standard American automobiles.

Imma fuck around and rap about sub-standard Korean autos and smash the fucking game in half.

    / Yeah /
    / In my KIA /
/ Told her it’s nice to meet ya /
/ Indian girl named Priya /
    / With a ass like a Diva / awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww /
    / No Amanda /
/ Fuck her Express like Panda /
/ She was only wearin’ her sorority jacket…Lambda…Oooh /

  22. London Bloke Says:

Nah remain thankful for what you have. You’re more blessed than most.

But you think Steve Jobs was just happy he done well with Pixar? Nah he said I’ll go back to Apple and own the world. You think Jay was happy with running Def Jam? Nah he said imma do Roc Nation.

The WTT show invoked the hunger though [II].

  23. Harlem World Says:

If I ever lose focus, I thrown on Hard Knock Life Vol 2

    the ultimate hustlers album

i feel like making money after i hear it

a nicca got bills to pay, clothes to rock, kid to feed, whips to whip, countries to visit – hoes to fuck

i gotta stay hungry, fuck feeling sorry for myself

im swallowing my pride – no homo and making that dough

yeah ill work after hours – yeah ill head outta state for a couple days for a lil extra (no dopepusher)

  24. S.I.C.K Says:

    LOL@this nigga Bloke

it`s truth though.I wish I could find inspiration through a rap song. Some life altering “today is the day”music.Even Jay said the birth of his daughter wasn`t some creative catalyst.

  25. Harlem World Says:

Jay ft Foxy: Paper Chase >>>>

“Got a nice little hoopty that I get around wit
And my plan is not to leave this town till I’m rich”

Is it profitable to be a rapper any more, unless you’re in the 1% of rappers aka Forbes list?

    ^^^

i was saying this on friday …niggas talking about d-list niggas that work at target pushing shopping carts in the rain 6 days a week but performing at SXSW is out here copping condos and jet skis.

i did the math, average d-list niggas are only making $15,000 a year. …that’s the equivalent of minimum wage in 2012
