My argument is not female based. I can say the same for that Fuck shit album WTT. Here we have two dudes who are wealthy beyond… And can afford the ability to be artistic and purely hip hop driven. But instead there albums are formulated on the potential return. In a sense they ain’t giving the culture shit only taking a way. They could change the game back to what it was built on. Sincere dialog aimed at their people. White folk will jump on regardless even though they don’t understand the subtext or message within. Give the people real beats real intent and real fucking hip hop.

Michael Rocks lacks a discernible personality. Always has IMO. There’s nothing really distinct about him, nothing to make a casual listener gravitate towards him.
Talent aside, personality is what makes artists like Wiz and Rocky stars.
He makes good music but it’s clearly about more then that in 2012.
It’s about branding & marketing a lifestyle, which is what makes his Jet Life signing make sense.

I like the strides both Chuck & Mikey have taken in their careers as of late tho. I think Mikey has yet to really lock in his audience or his creative lane as a solo artist, but he’s getting there. PP 1.5 might be his best tape yet.
