Catholic League President Bill Donohue issued a statement condemning the performance and Minaj.

Minaj’s performance began on stage with a mock confessional skit. This was followed by a taped video depicting a mock exorcism. With stained glass in the background, she appeared on stage again with choir boys and monks dancing.

Perhaps the most vulgar part was the sexual statement that showed a scantily clad female dancer stretching backwards while an altar boy knelt between her legs in prayer. Finally, “Come All Ye Faithful” was sung while a man posing as a bishop walked on stage; Minaj was shown levitating.

None of this was by accident, and all of it was approved by The Recording Academy, which puts on the Grammys. Whether Minaj is possessed is surely an open question, but what is not in doubt is the irresponsibility of The Recording Academy. Never would they allow an artist to insult Judaism or Islam.

Its almost as if we support out stars when they shining, but when they start shining too much, we start looking for flaws, then we we find those flaws,we exploit them. Some folks be happy to know others are just as miserable as they are, especially a star.

its what the media do my friend

called building you up to knock you down (ll)

which is why you must be careful with them

granted, she had her faults – but the media are very parasitic in this country

^It’s easy to talk about someone with more than you and try and make them feel small bro. But when you see that the effect you had on them was greater than you thought, it really fucks you up if it was negative. And to the lengths of Whitney, we all were guilty of the jokes. Didn’t want to see her go out this way tho. Drugs my nigga? We really wanted her to overcome. She didn’t instead of her following suit with our inner most well wishes, to yeilded to the media words b.

Her legacy (now, drugs too) can’t be taken away from her now. It’s too late. And niggas feel sorry. That simple.

SN-Not that I really believe that she died because of her drug usage, but I think the game felt it was time to end it for her. And carried out its final omen due to her.
