   why does society look down at getting married at a younger age than avg? each person has a different outlook on life, different maturity levels, goals, etc

   i dont get it…some have the argument that u havent ‘lived’ life yet, or that u cant possibly know what love is at that age, but whos to say that? and what exactly measures those circumstances that they are able to be applied across the board?

   ^The short answer is:

   At 20, you still haven’t grown into who you truly are yet. You’re a lot different at 20 than you are at 25, and 30. The “live life” thing is just that. You still don’t know all that you like and dislike, cuz honestly to that point, for most people in life, they’ve been living they way they’ve been taught to live, mostly by their parents.

   Its not until you get out in the world, see the way others live, try different things for yourself that you truly know what you like/dislike, can stand and absolutely not put up with.

   With all that said, that doesn’t mean that your marriage WILL fail. But the chances of you and your wife growing in different directions is greater cuz you guys are at such a young age and still have so much more growing to do.

   But i wish you and the Mrs. the best

   Thats how you can get a feel on how different situations will pan out in the relationships. If I didnt do that, I would have been in a crappy divorce.

    chase, ive heard that argument so many times tho, it gets redundant….i can somewhat agree, at 20 ur not sure about everything, but u can make that argument for 25 and beyond, theres plenty of older ppl that still have no clue what they want in life…that doest mean that a 20 year old doesnt have a clearer vision…

    me n my wife have grown together, have learned each others differences and have adapted accordingly, as any married cpl should…. it to this day still feels completely natural to me being a 24 yo old married man with 4 years under my belt

    I don’t agree but at least this statement is more respectable that the statement that Cam is top 3 DOA. Every time I hear that repeated on NR, a small part of me dies inside.
