    J. Cole is cool tho. I like his shit, but Land has a point.

Its like Pusha’s Verse on “take one for the team” is J. Cole’s career thus far.

  15. Jersey*made*me Says:

Jersey… i dont think anybody hates Cole or thinks he’s wack, or wont give him a chance, or none of that mean etherous stuff…. not at all…

its pretty unanimous that he seems like a good kid, and has good bars and works hard and all that…its just that his music doesnt touch the soul MUSICALLY, like other artists’ joints do…

    ^^

I’m not “crazy” about him,but I like the fact that he spits what he knows, not no fake it til you make it shit like officer Rick and that overrated recycled shit he peddles and niggas eat it up…plus his production is pretty good.

Solid artist, very authentic, like they used to be in the 90′s…

just let it go Fam… its not that serious… some relate some dont …

no need for anyone to justify their own personal tastes and/or lifestyles and backgrounds…

  82. Gravity Says:

Cole has become boring over time. he had me singing praises around TWU, then its been mostly downhill and recycled subject matter since then.

So far, he hasn’t caught my attention with his recent work. I’ll cop the album because he gave the World TCU and TWU for free …

His survival really is pegged on whether he’ll allow himself to be produced by seasoned architects of the beats or is he gonna keep dulling his music with his overall lackluster production..
