The internet has lowered the replay value of albums nowadays, cause you can d/l, listen, stream new albums everyday, therefore the time spent listening to one album repeatedly is far shorter than it used to be years ago cause there is so much music available daily at the click of a mouse.

indeed. the internet allowed more artists, ones without deals as well, to release music

also, the amount of free music is obviously higher now because album sales are down due to a few reasons. people just release more music and hope yuoll buy the album after all the free songs
or its a free album and they hope you cop merchandise, etc..

    eh.

If anything I can listen to one album more often these days because music files are more mobile. So I got the CD in the car, the digital in the ipod, a copy on the comp @ work, at home, ect!!

Watch the Throne is the best thing that either of them has done in years.

and I liked 808s, MDF, and a couple tracks on bp3.

They didn’t overdo the hooks or features (cept beyonce), the beats aint too pop or corny.

time will tell where this stands. but for now there is at least 10 good tracks out of 12. I’m cool with that.

Yeah, but I mean that there is so much new music to choose from daily that the time spent listening to each album is a lot lower than it used to be cause you wanna listen to everything and stay up to date with the latest releases. WTT was released yesterday but already that new Gucci x Waka is out so it’s like people move on from one album quickly these days, and may go back to listen but only if the music is of a high calibre. I mean how many people still go and listen to MBDTF regularly for example? When it came out the first couple of weeks yeah, but since then there has been a loooot of music released so people move on quicker.
