^cafe has had a few hits tho. Paper touching and the other joint wit Diddy, he couldn’t materialize them into a successful solo career

  10. PG-DC Says:

Rappers who forget the vast majority of their rhymes really don’t belong on a stage….. I mean got damn, you’d think Jeezy need heard of the word rehearsal.

Jay-z probably remember MORE OF JEEZY’S RHYMES than Jeezy did

  11. PG-DC Says:

It’s already bad enough that rappers get a bad rap for not having stage presense or being able to put on GREAT live shows – but add forgetful rhymes to that equation and the shyt turns to a recipe for disaster

  12. THe KiD FRanKiE Says:

    @pg
…well it’s not like he been doin hella shows, of course he forget them lyrics

  13. PG-DC Says:

^^^ Would rather see Kings of Leon live than ________ (add whichever rapper besides Hov, Spitta or Kanye, here)

That’s why all these rappers are getting live bands now, cause that’s the only thing that saves their garbage shows….. Rapper’s on stage aint worth the money AT ALL.

  14. Danny Ocean Says:

if you scared go to church and get a scripture tat

Point-taken, but still – that’s NO EXCUSE for a few reasons.

    1) This is his break-through debut ALBUM, his baby, in a sense. These rhymes should be flowing through his blood the moment the bass kicks in.

    2) Whatever happened to rehearsals??? I mean got damn.

    3) When Hov did his 10th anniversay of Reasonable Doubt he undoubtedlhy MASTERED those ryhmes. Hov has a deeper catalogue than Jeezy, was juggling waaaaay more on his agenda, AND had Kingdom Come about to release

    THERE’S NO EXCUSE!

  16. Harlem WORLD Says:

Jeezy like ta drink, Jeezy like ta smoke

  17. PG-DC Says:

    *undoubtedly

And I aint tryna sound all anal about the shyt – but this happens waaaaay too often with waaaaay too many rappers, it’s turning into a FACT from a STEREOTYPE that rappers slum at doing live shows

SMH. This shyt never happens with rock bands, R&B muhfuckas, etc. – ONLY rappers. Shyt just aint worth the money for the live show.

  25. Harlem WORLD Says:

Aint nothin wrong with forgetting lyrics…tickets is only $10-$20 for a rap show sometimes – unless its a big big name like kanye etc

the aim is to get twisted, enjoy the atmosphere – if people wanted to just hear songs theyd stay at home

  26. Hoskins Says:

Go crazy is one of Jay’s best featured verses imo

    ——————-

EXACTLY. That fact makes the whole situation look even worse lol.

@Harlem World, everything is in context to THIS show and rappers who’ve already reached “higher statuses”…… Me and a majority of ppl I know go to the LIVE SHOW to see the artist hammer out songs ACOUSTICALLY while adding to the songs with a PERFORMANCE

If you wanted to just watch a nigga stand on stage and lip sync you could’ve stayed home and watched the music video

  37. E aka Mac with the Cheese Says:

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study found that about one in six Americans age 14 to 49 is infected with HSV-2. Of those who tested positive for the virus, more than 80% did not know they were infected, according to findings published April 23 in the CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.
