ain’t NONE of those albums touching SC, or even one of the OG Wu albums during the “5 year plan”-era where RZA was ensuring them niggas was sounding correct.
You talking the solo’s, or the group albums?
Both. RZA ensured that the Wu’s sound was never diluted. Once Rae and the rest of them niggas started looking for Diet Coke RZA beats is when the clan fell apart.
Sean P could`nt hold Jean Graes` strap on/jock strap.I`m from BK and I`ll never understand the Mc Lyte hype LYRICALLY.First 2 releases were solid though.Always thought Antoinette was better lyrically and had the fatter ass to boot.

Yeah, I like Big Doe Rehab a lot too.
But it’s not on par with his best work. Neither is Apollo Kids or More Fish or that R&B shit he put out.
He didn’t really bring it on CL2 either. Or the Meth/Rae/Ghost album.
I need that R.A.G.U. album to happen. Now is the time.
Apollo Kids and More Fish were mixtapes he gave to Def Jam to get out of his contract, so I understand both of those.
The R&B shit was an experiment that went terribly wrong– apparently DJ couldn’t get him the artists he wanted for it. SMH.
And its a blessing and a curse that Big Doe Rehab is just “ok” or “disappointing” in comparison to his other albums– al that shows is how dope is catalogue is, cuz A LOT of niggas would like to have an album like BDR in they catalogue.
