But some of his mixtape shit is better then the shit that made the album.
    ^^^

Reverse for me I think the only joint I liked on that last tape (which honestly is the only full tape I listened to) was Too Fake… Nah Final hour and High Rise, too… I think he stepped it up pretty well for the album doe…

LMAO @ Light in the loafers swag

  3. why? Says:

Nasir is having some mixed feeling with the current title of his next album . While discussing his street single, “Nasty“ with MTV, Esco says that there’s a possible chance he may can the title Life Is Good.

“A lot of people around me didn’t understand where I was coming from. They kinda thought I was saying, “Let’s pop bottles, we’re rich, everything’s good.” That’s not where I was coming from, so there’s another title that came, that kind of fits a little better, and you might hear about that. There might be a change coming real soon.”

  4. Cypher Says:

Music is about sound… The voice is just an instrument.

So it doesn’t matter if a niggas verse is the equivalent of Beethoven greatest works, if the instrument only plays one note…

  5. Cypher Says:

Cyhi = the Ben Stein of rap

  6. AmpGeez a.k.a. Amphernee Hardaway Says:

wale stood out on MMG album…. Wale, the nigga is the definition of generic.

If you gettin out rapped by Wale you need to reevaluate you career options
    ^^^^

But Wale wasn’t saying shit on Self Made. And he’s fully capable of making meaningful music.

Pill’s voice conveys pain & struggle and matched with his content, he’s got the potential to make some waves.

I hope he and Gibbs don’t get pitted against each other.

Some of the best rappers have maintained a monotone flow- Guru, Kiss, Rakim.

Although for the most part I do agree with you. Being able to modulate and play with your voice is a seriously underrated skill, and its difficult as hell.

    @Jihad

You make a excellent point, but to be honest I very rarely listen to Guru or Rakim… And if I do it’s never on repeat.

I don’t see Kiss has having a monotone flow… He simply lacks a variety of flow

Kiss 2 flows when he’s rappin with styles and when he’s not… So I guess that’s more like 1.5
