So money & a clean rap sheet constitutes winning?

    Never said Jay was losing.

But I’d say P is still winning.

He went to jail with a couple of strong projects making the rounds and he’s home and he still has buzzworthy shit in the works.

Niggas hate on P, but he does what he wants and says what he feels.

    I can respect that.

^This is what makes Prodigy ill to me. One of the reasons.

Yo can have money & be a model citizen and still be losing.

    Ask Lebron James.

You said it like it couldn’t be winning, though.

amp desperately wants a NYC rapper to resuscitate NYC hip hop outside of the now standard industry saving hov album bad!

the game too wide for that now so he’ll be waiting…

The mainstream outlets have little idea what good Hip-Hop is any more and for the most part, out of town heads are clueless as well.

Racks should not be as big as it is, I don’t give a fuck how catchy it is. Dude’s verses are unintelligible.

I listen to shit I like and realize people will catch on eventually…or maybe not. Fuck em.

And Jay-Z can’t even save his street cred, he damn sure ain’t saving the industry with weak ass albums like BP3.

The days of the Camel setting the standards…we been off that.

    > no they didn’t.

ya hov hate & rationality thereof reveals your cornyness.

    > but the album did save it at the time so revise that.

also.. street heads are now weaved into the mainstream fold cuz this is a billion dollar industry.

rappers talking that street cred shit to the point they shun mainstream dollars & resources should they get the opportunity are dummies IMO.

  20. AmpGeez a.k.a. Amphernee Hardaway Says:

    no they didn’t.
    ==================
Yeah they did, like because P’s not a billionaire and he did a bid, he’s automatically losing.

Let go of the Camel’s teet.

    ^^^

    What did the album save?

Cause new cats like Drake & Wiz Khalifa are easily doing BP3 numbers. Jay-Z ain’t save shit. He actually changed his shit up to sell records.

Hov doesn’t make hits, he chases them.

  22. SPITGAME Says:

Yo Amp… Personally, I think you prolly a cool ass stand up dude, and your blogging ability is up there, too…

But goddamn my nigga I think your secretly Jungle… I have never met anyone with as much disdain for one of the GOAT hip hop performers as you… You go as far as to get mad at niggas for appreciating the music and business acumen like he ain’t set the bar and do push ups on it damn near by himself since the late 90’s into the new millennia..

    Damn my G
