Its an overall above average joint. Some good puns and play on words. Yes, SlimShady-esque in presentation of subject matter but NOT CLOSE in deleivery (before niggas start).

The nigga’s baritone has a command to it though. But his basic fill-the-bars-flow could use some tweaking, maybe some influctions errnow and then? I’m typing a paper and some of the verses I slept-walked through because it got REALLY monotonous.

I mean if I’m listening to a Freeway verse, I’m LISTENING to a Freeway verse, not some “oh damn I just missed like 6 bars gotta skip back a few seconds.” He knows how to use his voice, and the flow keeps you entertained before the bars do.

That all being said, the song is a 6 out of 10.

    Yonkers was a 7.

    >>> LOL @ this nigga writing a paper and writing a review with the off hand.

But this has essentially been my problem with Tyler’s flow. It gets monotonous, EARL’s lightyears ahead of him.

But if he keeps producing beats like these he’ll be good.

  20. Harlem World Says:

i think buddens can be good for baring his life story on wax – a lil boring sometimes imo

but deep down inside he knows those washed up models just tryna get coverage, since they seen what joe budden tv did for tahiry

but he might be playing the game too *kanye shrugs*

    slaughterhouse aight too

  21. Marv Says:

    Lil B ethered him.

Not even just that though, I mean homie has being in A LOT of beefs he lost….

Does he just set himself up to lose?…I don’t know man….

The dude’s most notable beef was/is with Jay-Z, now why in the fuck would a nigga wanna beef with Jay for?….

Doesn’t he know EVERY rapper already lost to Sean Carter?….

It’s funny because “Reminder” was a diss track to Buddens but it was so discreet I never found out until just a few days ago….

You’ll never make a name off of Jay anymore….50 Cent was the last nigga…

like, man, I really wanted more like of the simple type Jay-Z, I ain’t
want like the, the more introspective, complicated rhy- or the, in my
personal opinion. So he asked me, “what you think of it?”
    [Jay-Z:] “so what you thinkin?”
And I was like, “man that shit tite,”

I mean, these niggas are producers not beat-makers. If they want THEIR Jay-song to sound a certain way, they fucking let him know.

Hell check the FTBlack movie, Mr. “One-take” re-recorded his verses and inserts for both 99 Problems and Dirt Off Your Shoulders.

I mean yeah, if Jay hopes on a 40 beat and wants to get all willynilly, 40 aint gonna budge, but not with them niggas.

No, but if you take a look at who he works with as far as producers…

He works with some of the illest producers who are equally as powerful as he is…..

Case in point: Rick Rubin. Now, why would Rick Rubin be “scared” to tell Sean, “no, this shit sucks!”…..

    He wouldn’t be….

Jay-Z, I think has a great ear as well, I think he knows what sounds good, that’s why I think none of his albums went wood…

As well as having incredible artists on his roster both on Roc-A-Fella as well as Rocnation….
