    I remember seeing T La Rock live at the Wynne ballroom in the Wynnefield section of Philly in the winter of 1984. He and Jazzy Jay MURKED it, but he was rockin’ a T.W.A. (teeny weeny Afro)and a tan leather suit. Philly was just starting to rock box hair cuts and “Hustlers” (close cut) and “skin tapers”….
