It’s Arizona. I’m not surprised. Arizona established, then rescinded, a Martin Luther King holiday in the 1980s and not to mention the immigration law they’re pushing there too. I don’t why anybody that’s not white would ever want to live there. Backwards ass state.

Word he’s been showin off lately…these orioles have been killin ever since showalter took over last season…they might have the best record in the AL since he took over…I’m not likin how well Texas is playin either….I am lovin how well Boston’s playin…keep it up

  42. GMLLZ Says:

Personally I think Delgado should get in the Hall of Fame just for being one of the guys to put up big numbers without any steroid accusations…and if he hadn’t been hurt he definitely would’ve passed 500 HRs

  43. Jackson7 Says:

    Texas aint shit…

Crackhead Hamilton is out for 2 months now with a broken arm, and they have no bullpen either..

Orioles do have the best AL record since Showalter got hired…

Boston BEEN overrated… ever since the great Manny Ramirez left

that’s like saying if Griffey wasn’t always hurt, he would have passed 800 HR’s

staying healthy is part of what makes someone great. word to Cal Ripken

and 500 HR’s aint what it used to be.

I can’t argue with that argument. 500 HRs is what it used to be though..minus steroids.

  48. Jackson7 Says:

Carlos Delgado not a Hall Of Famer…

so is the great Jim Thome a hall of famer?

  51. Jackson7 Says:

Phil Hughes better get back on them roids…

not only has he lost 5 mph off his fastball, but son looks thinner in the shoulders, face and chest no homo …

  52. GMLLZ Says:

so is the great Jim Thome a hall of famer?

    ^^^^^^^^

Yes…without a doubt. Okay career batting average at .270…but the kicker is duke is 10 homers away from 600.

  53. GMLLZ Says:

Phil Hughes better get back on them roids…

    ^^^^^

I knew last year was a fluke.

  54. E aka Mac with the Cheese Says:

I don’t think steroid use would affect my voting on a players worthiness into the HOF if I was a writer

  55. Jackson7 Says:

Thome is… that nigga got almost 600 home runs tho (590)

    he’s in there for sure

  56. GMLLZ Says:

I don’t think steroid use would affect my voting on a players worthiness into the HOF if I was a writer

    ^^^^^^^^^

Yea. But no one with any steroid allegations has gotten even one vote yet for the Hall of Fame. Yet is the key word though.

  57. Jackson7 Says:

only reason Hughes was 18-8 last year is because the Yankees scored 7.4 runs per game when he pitched..

that was the best run support for any pitcher in all of baseball

  58. tron stockton Says:

thome is in IMO, but i’m biased.

    delgado, not quite tho.

    thome = Raekwon

    delgado = method man

  59. GMLLZ Says:

My problem with Phil Hughes is that his fastball has always been as flat as a board. When he leaves it out across the plate its a watermelon…even if it’s 94 mph. I didnt realize they hit 25 HRs off of him last year. No surprise though.

  60. GMLLZ Says:

thome is in IMO, but i’m biased.

    delgado, not quite tho.

    ^^^^^^^^^^

Delgado probably won’t get in. I just like the guy. He hit some serious bombs though…straight moonshots.

  61. Jackson7 Says:

Hughes does have the flat/straight Kyle Farnsworth fastball tho..

and he dont even throw as hard as Farnsworth either…

enough of Hughes already, Yankees need to call that 20 year old Mexican lefty, Manny Banuelos up from Double A… dude is the whole truth

Which means this shit is gonna get blasted on the radio 24/7.

  68. rex hussla Says:

MLB is all fucked up…Delgado, Thome, Bagwell etc etc ALL did roids. Everybody in the league was doing ‘roids. Obviously Manny was doing them heavy all the time. Nobody is to blame, we’d all probably do it too if we were in the league and had to keep up. Don’t be fooled. Just because cats didn’t “get caught” doesn’t mean they didn’t do it. I don’t like Barry Bonds at all, but to think this dude is being indicted for everybody’s problems is disgusting.

All these supposedly “clean” players are gonna have a hard time writing their acceptance speech knowing damn well that they’re only clean because they were never caught.

Griffey had a few 50 plus homerun seasons .. then he suddenly fell off into injuries and mediocrity, at the same time all the other users fell off,,,

Derek Jeter is probably the most likely MLB superstar to be clean… he never bulked up and powered up, and he’s aging in a normal way…

No doubt. But don’t doubt that there are guys that never touched the stuff that put up numbers.

  83. streetziswatchin Says:

Was Frank Thomas clean in your opinions? 2005 white sox are the only team in the last 15 years, not to have a player test positive for PEDS…

  84. GMLLZ Says:

Griffey had a few 50 plus homerun seasons .. then he suddenly fell off into injuries and mediocrity, at the same time all the other users fell off,,,

    ^^^^^^^^^^

That’s true…but Griffey was never a big guy. I think he was just a beast with a great swing in a great park (old Mariners stadium was built for him). I don’t think Griffey was ever on the juice.

  85. GMLLZ Says:

All these supposedly “clean” players are gonna have a hard time writing their acceptance speech knowing damn well that they’re only clean because they were never caught.

    ^^^^^^^^^

Also actin like every nigga in the league that put up numbers somewhat consistently was on roids isn’t fair. Some of these guys are legitimately beasts. Manny and A-Rod were beasts with/without steroids. No doubt their stats were enhanced b/c of the juice though.

  86. GMLLZ Says:

I remember playin against Rickie Weeks in college and just knowing dude was gonna be a top draft pick. That nigga looked like a fullback even back then.

niggas just dont hit 50-70 homeruns naturally…

since the testing and court cases, niggas just STOPPED doing that..

sosa, mcgwire, bonds, griffey, matt williams, brady anderson, etc… them niggas was using

  91. Jackson7 Says:

Frank Thomas was a big ol nigga… but he may have, and may not have used… id bet he did

  92. 911 Says:

I’m thinking as high as 65% of the players at one point tried something, I mean everyone of those mlb’ers became brolic’ and stayed so for a decade..

  93. GMLLZ Says:

niggas just dont hit 50-70 homeruns naturally…

since the testing and court cases, niggas just STOPPED doing that..

sosa, mcgwire, bonds, griffey, matt williams, brady anderson, etc… them niggas was using

    ^^^^^^^^^^

Niggas definitely don’t hit 70 HRs naturally. But there were guys hittin 50+ HRs back in the day when the fields were larger and bats weren’t as good as the ones today. It’s unreasonable to think that great hitters can’t hit 50+ HRs with smaller fields, worse pitching, better weight-training and off-season preparation.

Jose Bautista hit 54 HRs last year. Are you saying that drug testing totally missed him? His year looked like an aberration so I’m sure he’ll be getting tested this year IF they didn’t test him last year…but so far he’s off to a great start.

  94. GMLLZ Says:

    ^^^^^^^^^^^

Sosa & McGwire are proven/admitted users. Griffey is neither. Palmeiro definitely. Brady Anderson…no doubt in my mind he used. Andruw Jones’ 50+HR season was probably b/c of steroids. There’s a lot of guys who had amazing years….Gary Matthews comes to mind also back in 2006. That year was a massive aberration in his career numbers AND it was a contract year.
