    From CNN

A team of Japanese researchers was able to link green-tea consumption with decreased mortality from all causes–including cardiovascular disease. The researchers tracked 40,530 healthy adults ages 40 to 79 in a region of northeastern Japan where most people drink green tea, following them for up to 11 years. Those who drank five or more cups of green tea a day had significantly lower mortality rates than those who drank less than one cup a day. There were also fewer deaths from cardiovascular disease.

interesting, although i wonder if there were any other common variables that may have contributed to the lower mortality rates

  26. Troyvul Says:

The Nets and Nuggets reportedly have reached a tentative agreement on a trade that would send Carmelo Anthony to New Jersey.

The deal is pending Anthony’s agreement on a long-term contract extension with the Nets.

The trade would send Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Sheldon Williams, Melvin Ely and Renaldo Balkman to New Jersey, with Devin Harris, Derrick Favors, Troy Murphy, Ben Uzoh and four first-round draft picks to Denver.

Denver would then try to unload Murphy’s contract on a third team, presumably using one or more of the picks received from New Jersey.

If Anthony turns down the Nets’ overtures, the Knicks are expected to be the frontrunners to acquire Anthony before next week’s trade deadline.

Reportedly both the Knicks and Nets will hold meetings with Anthony during All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.

Just a last ditch attempt by Anthony & the Nuggets to get the Knicks to jump into that lopsided deal they were proposing where the Knicks give up both Chandler & Gallo.

    This ain’t happening.

Busta’s pretty much “Old School” status at this point, right?

Cause I can’t see him or his weed carrying click as it’s currently composed (try saying that 5x fast) ever getting back to the position Busta was in when he dropped ELE & The Flipmode album.

    That time has passed.
