Honestly I don`t have the attention span to actually write a conceptual song at this point.Freestyling has destroyed my pen game.Plus I`m so overly critical in my writing process.Production is more instant gratification to me.I will dust off the pen for our project and others.Give me till the end of march(my born day)for more concrete facts.

im truly honored that truly skilled MCs like Shellz and FreeJ would ask me to be a part of their art…

but i hate hearing myself rap… i rather do it live, in a car or room full of niggas, or on the street or the block, and not have to hear it played back … strange as that sounds

na actually it makes sense, my uncle is the same way. he was tellin me how he’d rather ghost write than be famous. but i also kno other niggas who dont look at rap seriously and prefer to do that live in the moment type thing.

    I completely understand.

I feel the same way (cept no one has heard me) I entertained the idea of rapping for a while because I love it (listening & creating), but I don’t really wanna hear myself.

only after I hear weak niggas rap, then I wanna spit.

but after listening to some skilled MCs… I remember why I don’t.

I think I’m going to record a project though & put it out there to say I have. Then maybe just record shit for me. unless I get hailed as the next Jay Z & I see $$$$. LOL

    THIS

I hate the “booth environment”You have to always turn the ac off.The headphones are retarded and clumsy. This is why I`m the one take king.Doing that shit over and over is a pain. The “punch in”overdub was a godsend for many rappers.LOL

  29. Hopp Says:

” I kinda spoiled it by listening to all the single releases, I think ”

    Shit, then I’m guilty too.

But he did the smart thing releasing the featured songs and whatnot, since it never been his thing to have a lotta features and I’m always more excited for the solo songs.

It’s a bad and good thing that Booth Shot Lincoln and 1000 Lashes made the final tracklist.
