Eminem is the greatest of all time. Em sold 80m records, won 11 Grammies, has nine #1 albums and thirteen #1 singles. Sorry but nobody will ever fuck with those stats. There can only be one #1 and that’s this white boy right here.

    ^^^

Nah not even. This is music not sports, you don’t win on stats alone. Wasn’t Nelly one of the highest selling artists of the last decade? Will people know his name in ten years

plus album sales would be like jersey or ticket sales

Thats definitely a foolish stance… A nigga like me, if Im not familiar with your work, I will download youor project especially if its free already… If I support your music itunes or amazon all day… Even If I download the leak 2 weeks before yahnamean… Especially cuz I would want the same treatment…

back when i was trying to get it cracking with the music (virtually impossible in chicago, you damn near have to relocate), i began to see it from this same standpoint

nowadays i only download mixtapes and promo type shit. if its a retail project that i’m going to bump on a regular basis, then i’m going to break bread and support

Among modern English speakers, solar deities are popularly thought of as male counterparts of the lunar deity (usually female); however, sun goddesses are found on every continent (e.g. Amaterasu in Japanese belief) paired with male lunar deities. Among the earliest records of human beliefs, the early goddesses of the Egyptian pantheon carried a sun above their head as a symbol of dignity (as daughters of Ra). The sun was a major aspect of Egyptian symbols and hieroglyphs, all the lunar deities of that pantheon were male deities. The cobra (of Pharaoh Son of Ra), the lioness (daughter of Ra), the cow (daughter of Ra), the dominant symbols of the most ancient Egyptian deities, carried their relationship to the sun atop their heads; they were female and their cults remained active throughout the history of the culture. Later a sun god (Aten) was established in the eighteenth dynasty on top of the other solar deities, before the “aberration” was stamped out and the old pantheon re-established. When male deities became associated with the sun in that culture, they began as the offspring of a mother (except Ra, King of the Gods who gave birth to himself).

I’ve heard that track before and full disclosure I was an Eminem fan before. But be honest with me if Em’s a black dude is he anywhere as successful as he is today? He’s a great lyricist but we got plenty of starving lyricists. It’s not like he has special subject matter. Imagine a nigga coming out talking about prescription pills, abusive mother and murdering his gf. Nothing special if you ask me. That track said it itself, ” 50 percent is 50 Cent, the other 50 percent is whose color of skin it is

This is why Em is the greatest of all time.

He has the best stats of all time – hands down – AND one of the illest flows ever, if not THE illest.

The dude who murked Jay-Z – easily – on his own shit.

And the dude who made this song with Biggie (that I linked above) super duper epic.

The difference between Em and Hammer, Vanilla, Chingy, Nelly, and all the other flash-in-a-pan ass niccas is that they were gimmicks.

Do you really wanna call Em a gimmick, even after he made joints with the best rappers of each era, each year, and continues to kill it?

How about “Forever” – he ain’t murk Wayne, Kanye, Drake, etc. – with ease?

C’mon man, yall lying to yourselves.

Lie to others – that’s cool – but don’t lie to yourselves.
