Disclaimer: Ima fan of lyricism and like it or not Em is a tremondous lyricist. At the same time I understand the dislike for the beats and subject matter. Me personallly Ima fan of how the verses are constructed… Eminem KNOWS his skin color is the reason he’s as sucessful as he is, past his skill… IE
Look at these eyes, baby blue, baby just like yourself,
if they were brown, Shady lose, Shady Sits on the shelf,
but Shady’s cute, Shady knew, Shady’s dimple’s would help
make ladies swoon Baby, {ooh baby}, look at my sales,
let’s do the math, if I was black, I would’ve sold half,
I Ain’t have to graduate from Lincoln high school to know that,
but I could rap, so fuck school, I’m too cool to go back,
gimme the mic, show me where the fuckin’ studio’s at,
when I was Underground, no one gave a fuck I was white,
no labels wanted to sign me, almost gave up, I was Like,
fuck it, until I met Dre, the only one to look past,
gave me a chance, and I lit a fire up Under his ass,
helped him get back to the top, every fan black that I got,
was probably his in Exchange for every white fan that he’s got,
like damn, we just swapped, sittin’ back lookin’ at Shit, wow,
I’m like my skin is it starting to work to my benefit now?

I believe so too. I think his degree got him arrogant. He’s overestimating himself. And getting signed to RocNation ain’t helped. Drake keeping him close might be one of the best hip-hop decisions. Drake fell off to me but he stay making smart moves. Them Jews don’t play.

BSG.. Eminem is a good poet… and maybe even top 25 rapper…
but them verses aint nothing special when compared to the REAL greats like Pharoah Monch and JayZ and Nas and Raekwon etc etc…
he’s a good rapper for a white boy… but some people get carried away by calling him the greatest and other nonsense like that..
the fact is, that nigga makes horrible albums that have zero replay value… some dont even have first play value

Police stopped Kyle “Uncle Kyle” Harris, 47, of 162 Linda Avenue in Riverhead and DeWayne “Tech B” Butler, 28, of Amityville after the pair allegedly purchased $16,000 worth of cocaine with counterfeit bills in Brooklyn. During the traffic stop, the officers found the pair had been ripped off themselves — and were only holding a sack of sheetrock and baking soda. Mr. Butler and Mr. Harris were both arrested as well.

I think Em was decent at rapping.
He was overly hyped by the white masses so it turns a lot of people off.
I think his first 3 albums were dope, but I aint played them shits since… they came out I suppose.
I might have Em in the top 50 GOATs, but seeing so many say he is THE GOAT knocks him down. when things get over hyped, they then under deliver thus hurting their final impact.
Like Hovs past few albums.

That’s a fall off to me. After your debut they supposed to be even MORE excite for your sophomore not less. We know what we gonna get on the next Drake album: mostly songs for the females and maybe two or three songs with Weezy or Jay-Z actually rapping rapping. I can wait.
Lil Wayne dropped one of the most anticipated albums when C3 came out caught a bid and had to realize half-thought out albums that still went gold but C4 is still one of the most anticipated albums of the year. It’s like lil Homey can do no wrong even kissing his pops.

Sigel is clearly one of the all time greats… his emotional, self destructive nature shortened his prime years, but also his emotional, self destructive nature helped him to have one of the greatest, most heartfelt deliveries of all time..
Son did quite a few songs with the GOAT, and never once did he not go toe to Camel toe with that nigga, and more than hold his own…

During a raid of Mr. Butler’s Patchogue home last month, police found a counterfeit bill printer in a living room closet and a check list of items needed to impersonate a police officer, including handcuffs and a Chevy Impala car. Clothing was crossed off the list, most likely because police vests and hats were found in the home, Mr. Spota explained.
