Video: Nas & Damian Marley – Patience

Easily one of my favorite songs from 2010, off one of my favorite albums from last year, Distant Relatives.

Directed and shot by Nabil Elderkin, who does the majority of Kanye’s stuff.

Previously: Nas & Damian Marley Record Dubplates @ Tuff Gong Studio (Video)

Since we missed Nas & Damian 3rd video blog, hit the jump to watch it.

I swear people say shit like this just to appear cool & forward thinking.

Not saying Nation isn’t being honest, but this album gets way more hype & praise then I feel it deserves.

But if they brick it doesn’t reflect directly on Jeezy.

    It’s a win/win.

Yep! 50 caught mad hate when he said the worst thing Nas ever did was isolate himself from his roots…it’s true! I have nothing but respect for both Jr Gong & Nas, but I don’t wanna see Nas do any more of these “Go Left” projects anymore… The dude is a beast on the Mic, that old saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it… he fixed something that wasn’t broke

Justin has different priorities & looking at how things ended with both Saigon & Jay Electronica, I could see how the politricks of the industry coulda soured him.

  22. Magnetic Says:

This is dope. We need to hear something that has something more than the same old same old. Yet, there is something in us that wants a little more sensation and a little more excitement. A good song just will not do it anymore. This is a problem but for the most part the more intelligent of us will like this song while the idiots long for Maybach Music, dreams of big money, bitches, and other forms of nonsense to be the core of their music.

I guess what I am trying to say is MANY OF YOU ARE SIMPLY TOO STUPID TO UNDERSTAND ART.

  23. tre Says:

One of my favs off the album too.

I remember wondering if that Miracles song had a more serious undertone if it was really all that different from what Nas was aiming for in his last verse.

…But then I realized these dudes have their faces painted as clowns spitting elementary school rhymes and remember why it was so hilarious in the first place.
