i know most of Statham’s movies are gonna be shitty but some cool action sequencing if he’s the main character but his co-star was in 3:10 to Yuma and he did a great acting job so i had high hopes for the movie

The Bank Job has been his best movie where he was the main character

the radio dosen’t really play local artists at all (save for Game and then throwbacks from Snoop/Pac/Dre) so it’s real divided by age and region

I know Messy Marv, Husalah and Jacka have been pretty popular in the bay for a while now…Cormega was even trying to do some work with Jacka (Husalah lost a lot of popularity cause a lot of people suspected he snitched to avoid more fed time on a drug charge)

Mitchy Slick’s real popular in San Diego, he makes real goonish music that sounds like vintage west coast rap

most the high school/early 20 year olds are into all that skinny jean/lil b rap

Jay Rock/Glasses Malone/Omar Cruz all had some songs on the radio over the past couple of years and mixtapes that were making noise but they all got shelved/had label problems

Sick Jacken and Murs are still popular and have good sized turn outs at their concerts but they’re more in the alt-rap lane

  41. Remixznflow Says:

    LOL… Murs…

ThaFormula.com – How much production did Soopafly do on the Dogg Food album?

Daz Dillinger – Me and him did the whole album but we made the sound for everybody. I was doing the beats and Dre mixed it down or we had somebody else mix it down, but we had to fight and pull a gun on Dre to mix my @#%$. He was on some other @#%$.

ThaFormula.com – How much of the Doggystyle album did you really produce?

Daz Dillinger – On the Snoop album I did “Niggaz and Bitches,” “Ain’t No Fun,” “Serial Killer”, and I wrote “Murder Was the Case” for Snoop. He and I co-wrote a lot of stuff.

  45. E aka Mac with the Cheese Says:

Crooked’s popularity’s kind of how I imagine Pap’s is on the eastcoast where some people got tired of waiting on the album when Crooked signed to Tha Row, he had a billboard ad for the debut/an xxl cover/a Jimmy Kimmel appearance and that was in the early 2000’s

still though he’s one of the best at just spitting straight bars out west

Like I said, no shots homie. I wasn’t calling you out on that, but you know as well as I do that right around Carter 2 and Dedication 2 when Weezy started getting hot and calling himself the best rapper alive a lot of niggas weren’t trying to hear it. No one was rapping like him at the time. Lil B makes songs that a lot of people can’t and don’t get but no ones making his own sound like him right now. I think he might be genuine. Not calling him the best or an above average lyricist, but he’s doing something different and in the copycat, formulaic times we live in at the moment that’s something to be commended …

    ” Just my thoughts … “
