@ el feces loco – your sarcasm makes for a humorous but very boring discussion. You can do better than that homey.

the females that consist of 75% of Drakes fanbase are not solidified FANS. We all know how females “tastes” change with the season.

Smokers will remain loyal (see Cypress Hill’s fanbase) – especially the white high school smokers that Khalifa-guy is grabbing. GOLD 1st WEEK #’s.
But Drake had already solidified his fan base with SFG, basically a free album that would’ve charted had it been released with a bar code initially.

Wiz has to have the music cause singles no longer sell albums. You need the persona bu the music has to be on a certain level for consumers to fuck with you.

Regardless of what you think of Drake, you were anticipating what he was gonna put on the album cause of the success of all the music he released prior.

aside from Black & Yellow & IN My Car, nothing has me really anticipating his album.

He’s gotta drop more quality music IMO. Get his buzz up, not that he doesn’t have one, but it’s more centered on that one song & we have all seen this movie before.

Will Wiz be a one hit wonder?

@ AmpGeez a.k.a. Amphernee Hardaway – I understand that argument fully. It’s wild because I think that Drake had way more awareness and recognition due to his COUNTLESS pop-star associations. The 1st time i heard anyone suggest I listen to Drake was on his “Man of the Year” song from his “Room for Improvement” mixtape (I think it was) and that had Lil’ Wayne co-sign written ALL over it.

In Khalifa-guys defense, he honestly gained majority of these accolades on his own merits, singularly. So MOST of us aren’t going to be HEAVILY familiar with his earlier work (unless we reasearch after his earlier WMG downfall) because he wasn’t being “pushed.”

But all them Taylors are hip to them “Deals or No Deals” “K&OJ”, etc. (not too hip with Khalifa-guys catalogue so I don’t know the name of no other shyts)

I just don’t understand why it’s so far-fetched to think Khalifa-man can go gold 1st week. It’s not IMPOSSIBLE. He’s pop ready – been ready.
