Yeah I remember checking Brian Eno on youtube blazed one night, the solo stuff was definitely out there but dope. Does he mostly make instrumental music? I need to check that shit out.

My favorite shit to listen to like that are my David Axelrod albums on vinyl. Sounds perfect on vinyl.

Matter of fact, the local record shop just called me and let me know that Axelrod’s “Rock Messiah” and “The Auction” are waiting for me…I put in the special order like 3 months ago LMAO….I totally forgot even asking for them.

I kinda want to go the Mac Miller show that’s coming up and smack him and post it on the internet…that little mouth breather irks the shit out of me

Yo I watched Eternal Sunshine a couple weeks back…that movie is so ill…that shit has a crazy underlying meaning. Like, no matter how bad some shit hurts or people have fucked you over…looking back, would you erase them if you could?

I totally forgot about Jay Elec’s track but when parts of those instrumentals would come in it was crazy to me.

they are way ahead of the competition, and the rest of the top 10 is interchangeable and easily debateable IMO

    including:

    Neptunes
    Swizz Beats
    Pete Rock
    Kanye West
    DJ Premier
    Heatmakerz

  20. rex hussla Says:

land you ever heard Rock Messiah or The Auction from Axelrod? I haven’t heard any of the tracks I don’t think…I got Songs of Innocence a month or two back. That’s probably the most sampled album of his I’ve heard…unless it’s Earth Rot.

One of my favorite movies of all time, due in part to the epic score. Cosign the dope meaning/theme: yeah relationships are fucked up, and have their ups and downs, but at the end of the day most of us would do it all over again if given the chance.

    Hell yea.

    Danger Mouse is dope

but I also have a special place in my ear for madlib.

I can’t stop listening to dude.

His music is great most of the time, but even if it isn’t, there is still something interesting about it.
