    but really..

you can’t say that jay’s production shit is a knock against jay’s catalog, because thats part of being an artist.. nas couldn’t have picked better producers? like everyone in the game wasn’t trying to work with nas ? nas chose who he worked with, and often he chose wrong. jay chose right.

    which is why

    jay > nas

  2. Vincent Van Dro Says:

I think Nas picking shitty beats is almost like not sucking up to a teacher but still getting good grades. Jay’d be the one up front ratting on the other students and Nas would be causing shit, still acing tests.

*daps Glock-9 Trondo and the rest of y’all*

  4. Jackson7 Says:

Jay been CONSISTENTLY blessed with some of the greatest hiphop beats of all time

  5. Bricktop Says:

BP3 had heat. Niggas dismissed it wit the quickness but he went IN
    ^
no he didn’t. Jay hasn’t truly “gone IN” on absolutely anything since the “A Million and One Questions Remix”. maybe his last verse on “It’s Alright” or the “911 Freestyle” off of that old DJ Clue, but other than that he’s just been playing with you young kids (no Kellz) who just don’t have the fortune to know any better.

  6. Vincent Van Dro Says:

new Madvillian tracks dropped, for the fellow stans

  7. Jackson7 Says:

    Reasonable Doubt >>>>>>>>> Illmatic
    IWW > vol 1
    I Am/Nastradamus = Vol 2

Vol 3, Dynasty, BP1 >>>>>>>>> Nas on hiatus

    BP2 > Godson
    Stillmatic > Black LP
    Streets Disciple >>>>>>>>>> Kingdome Come

debating any of the rest of both of they LPs is pointless and unnecessary cause they were subpar joints from both men/beast of burden

^The snippets you mean? Of the whole joints dropped? That first snippet was super ill.

  9. Jackson7 Says:

    Amar’e might get 40 tonight

  10. Vincent Van Dro Says:

hl I think they were just snippets so far, hard to tell with those villians

  12. Jackson7 Says:

    BP3 had no heat…

“Already Home” was cool for a minute…

and I kinda liked “Off That” for a hot second..

    but nah…

Jay shoulda never let that LP see the light of day… i dont like it at all… my copy looks brand new… no fingerprints or scratches on it whatsoever…im almost mad i wasted a blank disc on it

    eh your analogy is off…

Its more like Jay having the best teachers from the best schools w/ all the supplies and support from the parents

    compared to

Nas being the smartest kid in his town w/ very little supplies and subpar teachers who on their off days are plumbers, at home with an abusive auntie who only wants to drink Jack Daniels and smoke Newport all day w/ the hope that her nephew fails, and someday become just like her….

both get to college and are two of the best students in the history of the university
