    Sound FX with Bill Belichick>>>>

For Patriots fans, the best 30 min show ever. ever.

for other fans, still awesome, shows his whole career through sound snippets, his work ethic, presuperbowl speeches, etc…

    I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND WATCHING.

    onspike, maybe on demand, unsure.

  2. why? Says:

“MC Killers: Milk and Cereal. Get it? Forget it…”

  3. Hopp Says:

” What if it comes out that Suge did order the shooting? And the hit on Pac? Would he be the most reviled person in Hip-Hop history? The Rap Hitler if you will? One thing’s for sure: there’d be 10,000 niggas waving guns around on Youtube with bandanas on their face, threatening Suge’s whole family. ”

Whoever killed either doesn’t deserve my respect. Or any, for that matter.

    ^^^
the news video cut out, had different stations on it, and the voice saying it was about suge and tupac murder was done when the reporter was facing away from teh camera

but i only watched it once, like a week ago… but thats what i remember

so yes hoax, but perhaps they just leaked it a bit fast and wanted to “make proof” of it.

ive wondered if it was some guy,nh (prob not, but stay with me, nh) who was just caught up in the beef, or thought he had to do something, or was told it’s gonna happen,s o he figured hed do it…

anyway so i wonder about that, and if that dude after the fact, ever told anyone, is still alive, is/isnt in jail, and how he feels now…

kinda gay, i guess, but i cant imagine any person still being like “yeah im glad i did” obv most people who kill dont say that , but esp here.

this prob makes no sense. but fuck it, i got work to do.

  12. mcb Says:

anyway if it was just some other gangster or something…

Ive actually thought that but niggas like that, with no plan and no connects, tend to get caught rather quickly.

  16. black brokaw Says:

People chasing their tails with big and pac. Let em rip

  17. mcb Says:

yeah either the cop or legit, just somone else affiliated

but i know most likely it was that piru cop, or someone heor suge said to do it.

but what if it was some low level soldier. i mean everyone knew pac and big… wasnt like the killer didnt know what he was doing

    ^ lol.

As far as Guilty Conscience if it went down kinda like u have in mind, I can see it. If it was ordered, tho, which mainly leads to Suge, Suge doesn’t seem fazed by it at all and I doubt the killer did.

Since we’re talkin’ theories, tho, what about Suge puttin’ money on dude’s pocket to off ‘Pac and then goin’ his way to off the shooter himself …

There have always been a large percentage of fake rappers but the industry used to be closer to the hood than it is now.

I’m actually not mad at it cuz now it resembles a business instead of a hustle, niggas could always make bread but there was also a very real threat of you getting popped behind it.

Nah, not that, pretty sure the song won’t be any good, tho. Made the mistake of thinkin’ he wouldn’t go too off-center on the music when he said he got a Jim Jonsin beat, but I actually didn’t like the joint when it leaked.

^exactly. The thing people need to understand is there’s a thin line between staying true to your fan base and selling records. Wiz is a great example of staying true to your fan base and still be commercial.

“Black & Yellow” was by no means, an orchestrated label single but look how far that took off. He’s working with Stargate? Then he can flip the script and drop a Snoop record, Waka record, Spitta feature. He can even switch it up and work with a Cee-Lo or Bruno Mars and still go platinum with that alone.

    J. Cole doesn’t have THAT much range imo. the Jay-Z features and Keri Hilson cameo’s can only get you so far. And that is, in no way shots at Cole, its just how i see it. He has the potential to blow, but he has to find a lane and run with it

    J. Cole can murk a G.O.O.D. Friday beat all day, but the bitches at the club aren’t trying to hear that. Roc Nation is going to have to force a feature to make him pop. What range?

I fux with B.O.B but he has no such range.

Those Hooks made those singles go PLAT. Can you name a featureless song by B.O.B that did numbers?

    I’ll wait….

^i meant range as in he can crossover with that cheezy hook spectrum and still be accepted by hip-hop fans. CuDi can do it too. Wale can’t. J. Cole is TBD. Gucci Mane can’t have Bruno Mars on a hook and go plat… look at what that Usher single got him. Slaughterhouse can’t do it (although i think Joell Ortiz has the most range out of the 4 and can break out commercially, with the right single), Nipsey couldn’t do it with Lloyd on a hook etc.

that’s what i meant by “range” – if an artist can get Cee-Lo on a hook and go plat without it sounding forced

Wiz tempers his weed shit with serious pop appeal via beats and sung/harmonized hooks. I’m not sure his range extends to having Bruno Mars on a song though.

Cole is much younger, but he seems to have larger ambition without all the tools to reach that goal yet. He needs better hooks and he needs to switch up the cadences, flows and intensities on his song. See how Drake beasted [ll] him on that ‘In The Morning’ song. J. Cole should consider working with Q-Tip. Or Organized Noize. Cats that have seen the charts in the past without sacrificing artistic integrity. Maybe even Scott Storch, now that he’s not quite the behemoth he was. I think his fans will be able to accept that.

    —————-
Cudi & B.O.B were brand new artist to the mainstream public. That means when those POP singles dropped we had NO REASON to think it was forced. For all I knew, B.O.B and Bruno Mars could been a group.
^B.o.B was not a brand new artist by any means. He’d released a solid amount of material prior to Nothin’ on You etc. While he’d always had some amount of pop in his raps, it was nothing compared to his albums singles.

B.o.B didn’t move much units. The singles did. I think he got double platinum wit’ all three or at least wit’ the first two.

So he could’ve kept those 3 pop songs on the album and still put some more good music on the mix.

Drake’s music is good, but it’s not so much better than all the other niggas making music today. He’s where he’s at because:

    1. He’s talented.
    2. He’s a focus group’s wet-dream [ll].
    3. He received an insane and early push.
    4. He had his Degrassi fanbase
    5. He had TV money to help him anchor himself in the game.

A lotta niggas are talented, so I’m guessing that 2, 3, 4 and 5 have more to do with his success than 1. Nothing wrong with that – but nobody’s music is good enough to make them pop elite that quickly.

  360. son_of_ether AKA NAHRIGHT KEYSTYLE CHAMP Says:

^because you don’t get Eminem, Lil Wayne and Kanye West on a record without the suits backing you. And word is, that song was recorded around the time So Far Gone was being recorded.

Lots of rappers’ music is good though, I can count on one hand the amount of rappers that got the push he did.

    Wale being the PERFECT example.

he had Jimmy Iovine, CamelGOAT, and the blog love you think would be neccesary to blow up.

He was EVERYWHERE up til the album dropped– BET awards, MTV awards, etc.

and after all that– 30,000 sold.

^And that will likely be the last time we hear B.o.B with any independent creativity. A shame really. This whole conversation is making me hate the record industry and imagine a world where the public’s consensus of what is good music is actually that instead of a reflection of what the industry is shelling out cash to promote invisibly.

  376. Deen Says:

Cole might be able to do it though. He’s had a bunch of good looks so far. A slow burn to success. Success without disgusting compromise (BOB anyone?) or being a pop artist based in rap (Drake, Minaj, Cudi).

For those of us that consider ourselves ‘real heads’, we should be rooting for the guy. If he makes it, that might open the door to more artists with substance. I don’t think he’s “THE ONE”, but he’s good with me.

You would have a point if Lil Chuckie or Gudda Gudda blew up instead of Drake.

But the fact that Drake is actually talented, comes from a music background, had commercial success as an actor which = an automatic following and makes good/sell-able music… trumps this “theory” that he was made by YM.
