I was zoning out listening to my Jay Electronica play list on shuffle yesterday, all those newer leaks were mixed in with the Style Wars EP and flowed seamlessly. I forgot how ill Jay Elec. Seriously, as long as you have Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in your Itunes you can’t hate on dude. I know cats get frustrated with the delays but most of his music has very high replay quality, which is better than a large quantity of garbage to decent shit which a lot artists do.

its like you can find new shit everytime you listen to most any of his old joints

sex >>> reading while eating >>> most everything else

i cant even enjoy my food no more, unless im reading something while im chewing… and everytime i start reading without no food, i get hungry

I’m not even gonna lie…Jay Elec spits shit that goes a little over my head at times. The biblical and spiritual shit I’m not as up on [ll], the ones I can reference are absolute gems so if I had knowledge of everything he was spitting I bet that shit would be crazy.

But like that track he did for Erykah that was only a verse or so, Ghost of Christopher Wallace and the track with Jay & The Dream are so dope, and mix in perfect with that Style Wars EP. Even more crazy is that new track that has John F. Kennedy talking about going to the moon came on after Eternal Sunshine and it sounded like it was meant to be there.
